Two weeks ago when I played with my Level 2 Paladin, I was able to utilize the Divine Smite ability. Now when I loaded the campaign character, I see Divine Smite, but there is not a button to "use" the ability. Here is my pc sheet: https://www.dndbeyond.com/profile/jgeekw/characters/50338201
It probably got set to not “Display as Attack” anymore. Click the Action and then click “Customize.” Make sure the checkbooks next to “Display as Attack” is actually checked.
Ok well if you did take a long rest then you have to reset all your characters spell slots if you do this in DNDBeyond it will automatically reset all your spell slots and then you will see your divine smite button becme active once again but do remember you only have two spell slots that I see as of now so you get two uses of divine smite then you need a long rest to get it back.
we did a long rest during our session tonight, but it did not allow me to use it still. I did what IamSposta suggested and checked "Display as Attack", and I saw it in the attack area, but it still was not a click able action for an attack.
I do have Ad Blocker installed as a Chrome plugin that wasn't on the last time I played. I have paused AdBlocker for dndbeyond, but it's still acting the same way when I log into dndbeyond using the Edge browser. Even on the Beyond app it doesn't allow me to use it. So, I don't think the AdBlocker is affecting anything. Just to make sure, I uninstalled it from Chrome, and reloaded the page and still cannot use Divine Smite. I see it, but there's nothing clickable that will roll for damage using the stats.
No, it was dndb that I used early on in our campaign. It would automatically roll the appropriate dice with modifiers. One other player found me the Beyond20 Google Chrome plugin which works for the most part what it should be doing.

Is it possible that you are looking at it via the “share link” and not the direct link?

I just went back to my characters list and selected the Paladin and it still doesn't allow me to use Divine Smite.
Are you running any ad/popup blockers, browser extensions (like Beyond20), or a VPN that may be interfering with DDB?

I don't recall seeing anything in DnDBeyond that lets you "Use" Divine Smite. You just tick off a spell slot and roll the appropriate amount of dice.
Were you using some other tool the previous time, like Foundry or Beyond20?
