When I was making a Druid of the stars it seems a little messed up. On the Cosmic Omen part shouldnt it just list the two options? Right now it shows a dropdown. based on the wording it is to be rolled at the beginning of each day
I'm a Tiefling from the 2024 book and my species trait "Otherworldly Presence" is causing Thaumaturgy to show up in my cantrip list 3 times. It's not like other issues where there's a use and a cast - it's the exact same cantrip replicated 3 times. I'm a Sorcerer who normally can't even pick Thaumaturgy, so it's not replicated from features or species traits, and I did not pick it with any sort of Magic Initiate feat
Experiencing this as well! In my case, I have 4 iterations of Thaumaturgy--possibly because the switch from legacy to 2024 probably duplicated the one instance of it that relies on Charisma from my existing character.
Rolling dice is broken on mobile. (Pretty big bug)
No character portraits visible in Campaigns or in "my characters" (where did they all go?)
Tried making an illusionist wizard.
Illusion Savant added Silent Image just fine. 👍
But I could still select Silent Image in add spells.
So I could choose the spell twice.
It gives the crazy impression none of this wasn't beta tested before release. By the 9 I hope I'm wrong! But the list (there's a list!!) of unsupported features doesn't inspire much confidence.
No scaling on illusionist summon spells, no extra reach on the monk....
So for the most part I love the new rules but there are some bugs I am noticing with the character sheet. for one the Teifling legacy for the Abyssal legacy has the thaumaturgy listed three time. I'm thinking if you have the info in a array as your data structure its duplicated or if its in a database its been added multiple times. also the spells that come with the legacy are duplicated and the modifier isn't added to the spell save DC specifically for hold person and the ray of sickness isn't adding the modifier i selected i think that that state prop isn't being passed right. I don't know the code but I hope that it was helpful.
Some collected notes that I found last night and posted in the Discord:
If you navigate from Game Rules -> Classes to class features, it doesnt say in the headline what level the feature is gained at, and you have to scroll back up to the table to doublecheck. For example here: https://www.dndbeyond.com/classes/2190885-warlock
General: Sometimes the ability score bonuses from class ASI levels (4) need to be reapplied for them to work after making changes to Species or Background.
General: You're able to select multiple versions of the same spells (regardless of legacy status). The spells gained from features do not appear in the Spells -tab in the Character Creation or the spell is still selectable an additional time, when learning / preparing spells.
Cleric: Twilight and Nature domain clerics get Legacy versions of their domain spells on a 2024 base class Cleric character sheet.
Warlock: Eldritch Invocations from Xanathar's don't all seem to be available. Such as Relentless Hex or Improved Pact Weapon and some others.
Wizard: Illusionist, Improved Illusions: The increased range to 10ft+ illusion spells (+60 ft) doesn't get added to illusion spells' ranges on the character sheet. Examples, Phantasmal Force and Silent Image should then be 120ft and Summon Beast should be 150ft
Wizard: There doesn't seem to be other spellbooks than the legacy item, currently. Wizard starting gear provides a legacy spellbook
You are capable of multiclassing into a 2024 version of the class as a 2014 class...and into the same class too. You can currently make a warlock 2014/Fighter 2014/fighter 2024 multiclass on the character creator.
I managed to see the content in the character builder by going to Account > Licenses > Sync Licenses. There should really be an announcement regarding this because it's not obvious and so many people cannot access the content.
Psychic Blades are not working correctly with 2024 soulknife. And divine soul sorcerer does not have access to the cleric spell list at all.

Yep, thanks. I feel like I should keep this post here in case folks fall into the same trap I did.
IKR? How long have they known the new books were coming out?
I figured they'd have featured tested all the updates.
"Can't support monk's extended reach"
Is it really that hard?
This feels like Tasha's all over again.
The forum reports of missing content there are legendary.
I'm actually surprised it's so inept! I had thought it would be better role out.

Wild!
As a ranger I cant select a lvl 2 fighting style.
at https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/dnd/free-rules/character-classes clicking "next chapter" moves you to invalid "https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/dnd/free-rules/character-classes-continued" instead of the actual 3rd chapter - "https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/dnd/free-rules/character-origins"
Hopefully this all gets fixed before early access is over...

Psychic Blades using STR modifier? Soulblade = rogue = a lot of DEX. Confused.

Not a bug, you CAN use STR. Not that a lot of people would do that.
One other thing I noticed.
Transmute Rock is missing from the Wizard Spell list.
Did you forget to put it in, what happened?

damage die of lance is stil d12 instead of d10
Same for me!
I'm not 100% sure if it's a mistake, but the rules for "Malnutrition [Hazard]" are worded very poorly in my eyes.
1. They allow eating every 5 days with no downsides ever.
2. It's better to not eat that eat a bit.
3. The optimal way to preserve low amounts of food is to not eat for 4 days, then eat a tiny bit above half your requirement.
4. The optimal way to survive with no food is to not eat for 4 days, then eat a piece of grass for save against exhaustion.
Most of it can be fixed by removing the words "eats but" from "A creature that eats but consumes less than half the required food for a day...".
armor of safeguarding does not automatically increase max HP
