I purchased the Beast Master archetype from the marketplace and was just wondering how I keep track of me companion's stats. My dm gave me a separate character sheet irl for this but I was hoping to move all my info to this site for the ease of it all. Is there a way, or am I stuck with the physical character sheet for my giant eagle?
DDB developers are working on a feature that will add companions to the character sheet. What I have done in the meantime is create a homebrew monster with the correct stats.
No but you can manually adjust the AC and put a note in.

where was this located on the character sheet? do i have to purchase the PHB before it shows up? i have the beast master add on already.
They have changed it. On your sheet where it gives the box for attacks, actions and spells and all that, at the end on the right is a tab for "Extras", this will include an option for adding things like animal companions, wildshapes, summoned creatures, and more.

I was hoping to make a page for my Hound of Ill Omen, so I can have the stats right there. Any thoughts on how to do that??
Make a copy of the Dire Wolf and adjust accordingly.

Create the Hound of Ill Omen as a (private) homebrew monter (Creations>Homebrew>Create a Monster)
Then add it to your character sheet via the Extras tab. (Note that you will need to have the homebrew toggle turned on for the character in question: tap on the character name, choose Preferences, and you will see the toggle)

Awesome. Thanks for the info. I'll be looking forward to that update
Hey! I just found that you can click “Creatures” on your character sheet, then click “Manage Creatures” and add your companion from there.
Is there anyway of adding equipment to the creature, i.e. armour so that it increases the AC stats on the character sheet?
No but you can manually adjust the AC and put a note in.

thx!
Once you've added a creature under EXTRAS on your character sheet, you can track how many HP it is on in the side bar.
Click on the creature to open it in the sidebar and then click on Hit Points and it opens the tracker for them.
