I'm having issues with creating my characters. Whenever I get to archetype or feats I'm only being given one option ie rogueorogue gives thief option, fighter only gives champion.
I'd really appreciate some help. Thanks in advance.
The only character options that are available for free here are those in: the Basic Rules, the System Reference Document (SRD), the Elemental Evil Player’s companion and a few other odds and ends. The first 3 are all free pdfs that Wizards of the Coast (who owns D&D) put out. D&D Beyond (DDB) has a licensing agreement with Wizards to provide content and tools on this site. They have to pay Wizards for that content, so we have to pay them to cover both the licensing costs and the costs of providing this service.
You have several options at this point:
-you can use the homebrew tools to homebrew the archetype (or spell, race, etc.) you want to use that isn’t available for free. You can’t publish them, but you can use it yourself, and that homebrew will be shared with others in any campaign you are a part of. (Although at the moment homebrew sharing has been buggy)
-you can purchase just the archetype/spell/race etc. that you need. In the marketplace, choose the book that the item is in (e.g. PHB for nature domain cleric); if it doesn’t immediately pull up the page for that book, click on “View Details.” Once you are on the page for that book, scroll down, and you will see categories like “spells” “subclasses” etc.: all the options in the book are listed there for individual purchases. Anything you spend on “a la carte” purchases in a given book are credited toward the cost of the full book here.
-you can purchase the entire book that has the material you want
Thanks for all that info. Our DM has purchased a number of resources and it hasn't been a problem in the past so I'm guessing that it is the glitchy homebrew sharing.

Thanks again.
Do they have a Master Tier sub and enabled content sharing?
It's possible their sub expired. They can renew and re-enable the sharing. Make sure the character you're making/levelling is inside the campaign - sharing doesn't work for characters not in the campaign where sharing has been enabled.

Are you attempting to make the character in your DM’s campaign? Content sharing only works specifically within that campaign. If you are attempting to build the character outside of the campaign you will not have access to their content.
Thanks all. We worked out that it was because I was making them outside of the campaign (DM has been making some concerning comments so I thought that I'd have a few backup characters ready to choose from). Cheers.
One of them involving the fact I cannot replace the Light Crossbow proficiency when creating a Wizard, by some other better proficiency.
Another issue is the fact why all the chars must have also a pack of cards and dices ??? Am I playing D&D or Heartstone game ??
While you can’t remove a proficiency, you can add a proficiency on the character sheet: In the proficiencies and languages section, click on the gear icon at the bottom, and you can add one or more proficiencies.
All characters are not required to have cards and dice. Certain backgrounds (and perhaps some subclasses) have as one of their features proficiency in a gaming set. When that is the case, a gaming set of your choice (one gaming set) is usually part of the standard equipment for that character. For that matter, even if those items are part of the standard equipment for a character, nothing forces you to add them to your character. (If you use the Standard Equipment feature to speed up added equipment, you can always remove those items on the character sheet.
Note: the Rules as Written (RAW) don’t allow for Wizards to replace or change weapons proficiencies, and the rules do provide for certain characters to start out with cards or dice. So your issues as stated are really about 5e in general and not specific to DDB’s tools.
Adding an extra proficiency it's not the way I wanted. Because the fact the Wizards have this proficiency, means they had to LEARN & TRAIN in such ability or weapon, which specificly forces me to make a background history about HOW & WHEN this wizard did that. That's why I wanted to replace this proficiency I don't want by another better one.

You could just ignore the Light Crossbow proficiency in favor of changing the backstory. Also, a crossbow typically required very little training hysterically, which is why Wizards get it.
