I am making a subclass and the last ability has charges that recharge after a long rest and the charges go up by 1 each level, but I don't know if there is a way of doing it. So, if there is a way please teach me to do it, thank you.
Class features don’t get “charges,” so you will not find any mention of them. Instead you need to set “number of uses” and to get them to increase every level you will need to add a “level override” for each level to increase the count.
The ability give the player a pool of d8s equal to the players warlock level starting at level 14, but I don't know how to make it have limited uses to show the number of d8s and have it go up by one when the player level goes up.
Create an Action, (general action) set the dice count to 1 and the die type to d8. Set the “activation type” as Action/Bonus Action/Special whatever it’s suppose to be and set the “Reset Type” to Short/Long Rest. SAVE
After you save the Action, you will have to go back in and edit it again. (I know that’s ridiculous, but it is what it is.) Now you will be able to set the Number of Uses, as well as the Level Override to increase the number of uses.
To get the snippet right, you will also need to set the “Scale Value” so the snippets will be able to reference the correct numbers.
The subclass is based on the 4 main elements, Air gains resistance to Thunder and Lightning, Earth gains resistance to piercing and Slashing, Fire gains resistance to psychic and radiant, water gains resistance to fire and force. I have given them senses or movement speed, Air flying speed, Earth tremorsense, Fire Blindsight, Water swimming speed
Those are called “tooltips,” you can learn all about them by following the link in my silliness below. For damage types you use “rule” (instead of “spell” like Command uses) and you have to list it as “Force Damage.”

yes but where do i set the number of uses
You have to create an action to which you can attach a number of uses, and then the level overrides for them.
What exactly are you trying to do?

Thank you for your help, and i have completed it
Happy to help. Just don’t publish it for a while, it will take time to playtest and edit it until you get all the kinks worked out.

Hello, with my Warlock subclass, at 6th level they player gain two resistances and thats it. Do you think that is enough or should I give it bit more.
That depends on what the resistances are and what else they get at other levels.

I’d personally be more worried about blindsense. That’s broken.

i can see why you think that, but i was think that if you choose fire you get something close to thermal vision
also how do you type out the damage types to do the something when you type (Command) or (prone)
