My Rogue has reached 3rd level and when I click "Roguish Archetype" to select my specialty I can only see "Thief" as an option. I'm not provided with the "Assassin" or "Arcane Trickster" options. Is there some setting that needs to be in place?

I must admit, it's disappointing that I have to re-buy the PHB to access info I already own in hard copy, as well as play with a group here in DNDB that owns these things.
There has to be a way for DNDBeyond to be more compassionate with their users who already own a collection of books.
Note that if all you need (for now) is one subclass, you can just buy that and not the entire PHB. Doing so will discount the cost of the PHB by the amount spent on individual purchases, if you eventually decide you want the whole thing.
And on top of that if anyone in your group has a Master Tier subscription you can use all of their content if your character is part of their campaign.
Here's what I wish... at Least going forward with this: When you buy a physical copy of a product, you at least get a DND Beyond code to link it to the PDF content here.
I still feel the price point for the PDFs here are a bit steep. It seems they're hoping to generate more micro purchases.

That has been repeatedly requested. It is very, very, very unlikely, for the simple reason that Curse receives no money when someone buys a D&D book from anywhere else.
There are several further layers to that counter, but I don't remember them very well off the top of my head.

They. Are. Not. PDFs.

That applies to all purchases.

At this point, is it even worth giving these people the time of day?
Yes, it is, because there's always the chance that they can be turned.
Because like undead they keep coming back.
Some people seem to resemble death knights and liches, but this one is more like a poor, lost, forlorn ghost that hasn't quite realized that it's dead.

Thanks.
Have you bought the players handbook in the marketplace?
Or the rogue subraces from that book. Otherwise you only have the basic rules options to choose from (and thief was the only sub-class there) .
As Arthognor mentions above,
D&D Beyond can be used for free and contains information from the following "free to use" sources published by Wizards of the Coast: D&D 5th edition SRD , D&D 5th edition Basic Rules and Elemental Evil Companion.
Content from other sources, such as the Player's Handbook, Dungeon Master's Guide or Monster Manual will need to be purchased from the Marketplace, or accessed via another user sharing content with you via their Master Tier Subscription.

It's nothing to do with a lack of compassion - the team at Curse have worked hard to get the lowest price they could for the community on this.
They have gone to extraordinary effort to allow partial purchases, so you can just buy the class or race you want, rather than full books.
There are some very long discussions on the why and so forth on these forums.

People keep asking, because it's a valid and worthy question/ request.
Curse should take that up with DnD WotC. That still leaves players paying double dips for content they already own, which kinda stinks.
Thanks for the salt.... I'll put it on my steak.

I have the same problem and I have purchased both the Player's Handbook and Arcane Trickster in the Marketplace.
If you have purchased the PHB here, it's not the same problem. The OP hadn't purchased anything here. That said, try clearing your cache.
Also, is your character at least level 3?
