When WotC bought DDB they fired half of the dev team, since then they’ve fired half of the half that was left. Now, whoever is still on payroll is tied up in developing their VTT.
Yeah, they only add features or fixes when it is from content they are publishing. They don't actually add things specifically to the homebrewing directly.

It is not going to be at this point. I am certain they are concentrating on implementing the new rule set.
