In the XGtE the following sections from chapter 2 are missing (Trap/ Downtime Revised/ Downtime Activities/ Awarding Magic Items) and when I click on there tabs they don't redirect me anywhere either
I also can't read a lot of the sections even though I own the legendary bundle. Only titles from the basic set and about half of those won't allow me to click on it without seeing.
I'm using android 6.0 on a Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70F
I have DnD beyond version 1.1.0.8
I get a message "basic rules are not update you need to update from the compendium screen" but there is no option to update.
Overall the app is running pretty well but these are the few issues that I'm seeing.
When filtering down to view something like all level 1 spells you can only see the first 30 results. If you just want to browse all the level 1 spells, CR 2 monsters, etc. you can't.
Occasionally seeing content from other magical items mixed into the end of other item descriptions. "Back Talker" sword ends with a "Feather Token - Anchor" description. Blackrazor ends with "While wearing this armor, you have a swimming speed..."
Trying to view content from the Tomb of Annihilation prompts me to update the ToA content, but no update is available. My content version history says ToA is on v8. This happens on my iPhone and iPad.
Global search doesn't prioritize a whole string match over the individual word matches. So, if you search for "Amulet of the Black Skull" you see items and articles that contain any of those words before you see the items directly relevant to your search.
The app does occasionally freeze when searching for content.
DNDBeyond - 1.1.0.9 iPhone iOS 12.0.1 and iPad Pro iOS 12.0.1
Thanks for the hard work! The app already makes running a game way easier.

Having this same issue. Have tried reinstalling app and redownloading content multiple times, no dice.
I'm having a major formatting issue with Monsters in the listing. All the monsters have nearly all of the content squished above the viewable page on stats, and the other tabs (actions and description) are not word wrapping. Am on iOS (iPad) and have all the various display options.
On Android, the app displays my purchased books (Compendium content only) as unavailable, meaning, it directs me to the Marketplace to buy them (which I already have). Is there anything you can do about it? Thanks!
Hi estebandi, please contact us directly at support@dndbeyond.com to help you with this issue.
For the Dungeon Masters Guide and the Monster Manual, I own all the "Optional" portions like the Monsters/Magic Items/etc but not the Compendium itself. Within the Mobile App, I cannot select a Monster from the Monster Manual that I own because it then directs me to purchase the Compendium.
On the app, Vicious Mockery isn't appearing as a spell. It doesn't show up as searches, and hotlinks from other pages (such as Tiefling) take you a blank page. Not sure how many other spells, if any, this affects.
Just updated a lot of the content on the Android app and some pages seem to be missing. Specofically the "Awarding Magic Items" page of Xanathar's is mossing. Clicking it on the table of contents just brings me to the table of contents and when scrolling through the page is not there.
running iOS on an ipad, I loaded all my purchased books ok as far as I could tell after I installed it.
But then I bought the monsters-only pack for Strahd on the website. When I go to the app under Compendium Strahd's still just says I can buy it after a refresh. Under Monsters Animated Broom still leads me to the buy Strahd's page after it loads.
I went to the My Account page and chose 'install all sources' and Strands is not mentioned under Adventures and nothing new seems to be installing.
Is there a known issue with not getting items/monsters etc. bought piecemeal?
I had previously bought the Bladesinger piece-meal as well so I tested that out under the Classes listing. It shows up in the Wizard list, when clicked asks if I want to download SCAG content but then it does not seem to complete the download, just keeps asking each time I click on it. Other Wizard subclasses look fine.
We are aware of the issue with the "a la carte" / "piecemeal" purchases. We appreciate the feedback and your patience as we iron out all the kinks with the new feature in-app.

Does this include the issue with everything linking back to Basic Rules?
Also, any word on ‘Tomb of Annihilation’ still being version 8 and not updating?

Hey gang - I love this, it'll definitely see some use at my table! One thing I'm finding confusing: how do the basic rules doc and the core rulebooks interact? I own all three core books in my account, so I thought I could just download those and leave out the basic rules (which also means I don't have to worry about the unnamed variants of spells appearing alongside the named ones, i.e. Tasha's Hideous Laughter vs Hideous Laughter etc.), but I've found that monsters included in the basic rules don't appear unless you have the basic rules content installed, even if you have installed the Monster Manual. (I'm running the test flight version on iOS 12.0.1 on an iPhone 6s, in case that info is helpful.)
I realise this may be intentional, to avoid doubling up of data, but it might need to be signposted better? On the web site it's not a problem because you always have access to the Basic Rules whether you've bought additional content or not, but if I need to have the basic rules installed on the app to use stuff I also own in the PHB, MM or DMG, it'd be good to flag that. (In my mind those books supersede and replace the basic rules, so needing them both is counter-intuitive unless its specifically called out it works that way for app purposes.)
Yes, this is intentional (at this point in time) to avoid duplication of data (and therefore larger install sizes) on a device. We are reviewing alternate means of handling that storage that will make all of this clearer before we leave beta.
Thanks for the feedback!
Quoting a bit there to answer your first question.
As for ToA, version 8 is currently the latest version that introduced listings content. If you're not able to access those particular listings, you may need to delete the source from the My Content list under My Account and download it again. Otherwise, v8 is the one you want!

Success! Removing and reinstalling just ToA did the trick, thought I’d tried that but must have been the one thing I didn’t.
And cheers for the clarification on Basic Rules, missed that when checking this thread too.

Is there a reason spell and monster links from Waterdeep direct first to Basic Rules rather than the Monster Manual or Player Handbook?
Not sure if this is an oversight or intentional.
