Hi new dm and been trying to get my players into a campaign, had them create an account sign in get the player link and when I click on encounter it says 0 players are there wtf. Someone tell me how to get this site to work for real. There is no customer sport or team to help people like me instead we are told sorry. I am seriously thinking of quiting dnd just over the site and incapacitated feeling that D&D do not care about their players let alone Dm's. Oh by the way your site doesn't have folders to organize things, no way of saving monster to specific thing like app. But app doesn't show encounters so I have to bounce between 2 phones just to get 1 thing done because of your website. You either need to stick to board games or fix your site cause it's gonna push away players like me.
To clarify, your players joined your campaign using the invite link you gave them and either created characters or chose ones you had set as unassigned for them, and they're not showing up in the encounter builder when choosing how many characters the fight is for?

Within the encounter builder, you have to select a campaign to have the characters show up as being in the encounter for the purposes of calculating difficulty and XP distribution. The characters sheets don't show up in the builder but do show up in the combat tracker. If nothing else you can always add blank characters set to the same levels as your players to an encounter for the purposes of calculating those things I mentioned before. Not a perfect solution, but a workaround if this issue persists.
All of this is assuming that you have a subscription. If you don't have a subscription you can't use those tools. There is conflicting information about this on the subscriptions page, so best to ignore this for the moment.
A few things to remember:
First, the encounter builder is still in Beta and the combat tracker is still in Alpha. They are still very much in the early stages of testing and are bound to have some issues.
Second, The app is still under development as well. There are many known issues with it and a handful of threads that list the known issues and what is being worked on.
Third, DndBeyond is not owned nor operated by Wizards of the Coast (who own Dnd). They are an online toolset and as such have to do some things specific to how WotC wants them to do them. Being upset with the way something is on DndBeyond shouldn't affect the way you feel about WotC or Dnd as a whole. If you are really that dissatisfied with the way the site works I would highly recommend trying to use a different site that can fill a similar function (like Roll20) but do keep in mind that whatever you purchase on this site WILL NOT transfer over to any other site.
