Per the 1st level Clockwork Soul Clockwork Magic feature: when you gain a Sorcerer level, you can replace one spell you gained from this feature with another spell of the same level. The new spell must be an abjuration or transmutation spell from the Sorcerer, Warlock, or Wizard spell list.
My question is this or how to do so in D&D Beyond? Looking, I don’t see a way to do so (a might be missing this). Am I missing something, or is this just not an option at this time?
Aberrant Mind - Psionic Spells. We don't currently have a method to allow swapping these spells out. We are looking at solutions for this. "Whenever you gain a sorcerer level, you can replace one spell you gained from this feature with another spell of the same level. The new spell must be a divination or an enchantment spell from the sorcerer, warlock, or wizard spell list."
Clockwork Soul - Clockwork Spell. See Psionic Spells above.
Your best bet is to create a Homebrew feat I believe, though others may have better alternatives whilst the staff behind the website develop this feature. I wouldn't expect this to be completed soon though.

You can also make a homebrew version of the subclass where you have selectors instead. I made one a while back for Aberrant Mind and it works like a charm (if it might be a little janky). I even did it in such a way that you get the appropriate selections at appropriate levels- basically you just make a copy of the class, remove the existing Psionic/Clockwork Spells feature, and add spells back with a new feature (or several features if you want them to appear at different levels). You have to manually add each spell to the list, which is tedious, so if you know what spells you *specifically* want you could just change those in the list instead of doing it individually.
This is actually ridiculous. I've paid for a good number of books on dnd beyond, and learning the lack of support is making me reconsider continuing when there are others that do this better.

It would require a homebrewed subclass in order to first delete the default options AND THEN either editing that homebrewed subclass each time you want to change in order to add back in the desired option for each level or a homebrewed a feat to allow for choosing from a list of options, right? (and maybe the 2nd one is more elegant and future proof).
Edited to say: I no longer think the Homebrew Feat is a good and viable solution because it seems like you can't get the spell to act like a just regular slotted spell, when it comes from a feat (and there are issue with HIT/DC data too, and I'm not sure if those could be worked out or not, but it doesn't seem to matter if the spell slot stuff can't be made right).
Here's my video showing a workaround. Audio is not the best but you should be able to hear everything. Hope it helps!

Thank you for this! I really appreciate the work around. It's such a shame that we're nearly 2 years since release without an official way to do this. Great work around! Cheers
Ugh. What a wonderful video @Cyb3rM1nd, thank you! Unfortunately, I don't personally own Tasha's (it's shared with me) so I can't use the Clockwork soul as a template. Which mean I'm either screwed, or I have to manually re-create the subclass myself as homebrew, just to switch out one spell. Joy.
You can ask the person that shared it with you to make the homebrew. The homebrew should then also be shared with you.

Leaving OGL 1.0(a) untouched and making SRD 5.1 CC-BY-4.0 is a great first step. The next is a promise to do the same for future editions. Here's a discussion thread on that.
When I develop a homebrew thing, iterating on it, I have a technique to get around the update delay you mentioned in your video.
Until the homebrew item is stable, I always include a version number as part of the item name, e.g., "Fantastic Thing 0.01".
While iterating, I never edit an item I've view from a character. Instead, I copy the item, edit that, and rename it to have a new version number, e.g., "Fantastic Thing 0.02".
Re-enter the character sheet, and look for the new item with the different name, e.g., different version number in the name.
This also lets me A/B test two versions of an item, either by swapping them in and out completely (as for a subclass) or having both magic items "Thing 0.01" and "Thing 0.02" in my inventory and only enabling one or the other while I'm checking whatever.
I don't know why the DB handles "new" items than edited one. Some kind of front-end caching could explain it, but that's just a guess.
Once I'm done iterating, I edit the final version to remove the version number from the name.
That's good idea, thank you. That would save me a lot of frustration.

I mentioned this a while back and basically got the response of "Well, we can't do it in a way that doesn't allow players to change spell selections illegally (i.e. too early) so we just aren't going to do it."(https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/d-d-beyond-feedback/118600-why-do-aberrant-mind-and-clockwork-soul-not-work)

Still no solution for this? We are more then a year into this..
Makes me wonder why free apps do support this, and my expensive paid official app does not?

Just a few weeks away from the 2 year anniversary. What are we all gonna do to celebrate Beyonds inability to implement features?

And do these Two article have the complete and accurate lists of options for Clockwork soul:

DDB is great, but it could be better. Here are some things I think could improve DDB
Got content shared with me to play Clockwork Soul and was quite hyped and thinking of purchasing content myself.
Only figured out after hours that Spell Swapping is not supported. I can not create this Homebrew content myself and have to bother my DM with it.
DnDBeyond is supposed to make things simpler. But right now it looks to me like a burden people have to pay for.
Would love to see this platform function.
Would be lovely if this was possible!
I also would be interested in this feature. Thanks for all the great ideas!
