I would really like to be able to add notes to different section of the adventure modules. Like comments for myself, since im running D&D in swedish I like to translate sections. Especially the ones that i'm supposed to read to the players. You could also add links in the notes to a spotify soundtrack or other 3rd party resource or a D&D beyond resource.
Technically maybe you could add a comment and tie it to a specific data-content-chunk-id. They are fairly frequent i've noticed and would be perfect foreign keys ;)
This is a cool idea. I especially like the idea of linking out to a preselected playlist or soundtrack (maybe using a Spotify playlist URL).
It would also be cool to add "hover" notes to the numbered areas of maps to serve this function as well. I hate scrolling up and down from map to numbered section description while I'm trying to run my game. At least having embedded links in those numbered sections in the map to jump to the corresponding section and then back up to the map (from the section description) would be very helpful.

On top of this, I'd love if notes added an anchor to the page, so you could link/bookmark directly to your notes, and have them appear in the table of contents/lefthand nav bar.
I would also enjoy this feature. I translate many sections to german, also I like to swap NPCs to tie adventures together. My books are full of sticky notes. Digital content seems predestinated for easy management of such things.
I would love this to make notes about additions and changes to the story. It would be great to be able to highlight text and add a note- having the note appear when the highlighted text is 'moused' over.
Yes please, the adventures are very basic, they need helping to be beefed up. For me, I hate how there is a huge map and no hyperlinks to jump to certain sections in the adventure. Like with ToA, the hole city of Omu is in one section, so you got to do a lot of scrolling and you might scroll past it, just annoying. So being able to put your own notes and links in the adventures would be awesome.
That would really be helpful to organize sessions, having most of the things just where I need them (like putting links to music to a special section etc) would really help the game flow.
I am in the process of using D&D Beyond for the first time, and like usual I began translating the adventure to Norwegian. When I was about to add my notes I tried to find the "edit/annotate" tools, which to my surprise were non-existent.
Being able to add notes and/or edit the adventures is essential for anyone running adventures in their (non-english) native language. Therefore I too am a big supporter of this suggestion!
This would be really really helpful actually, especially for foreign players like myself that would highly benefit from taking notes in my native language inside the adventure pages.

It's one of the big things I want to see as well :)

Me three! I'm needing to beef up encounters in TOA, and I'd love to be able to make notes by the entries of the things I'm adding.

I Added a small example of how it could look with minimum effort :)
Just adding my vote!

Haven't seen anything related to this, and it's 2019 - so adding my feelings towards this as well! Please add this feature :)

Giving my thumbs up for this idea ;)

Absolutely agree, my books always have post-its, highlighting etc. I need to be able to do the same with my DND Beyond adventures.

That would be an absolute amazing feature!

Until this is supported by dndbeyond, I wonder if a browser extension would work? Something like this maybe: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/beanote-note-taking-on-we/nikccehomlnjkmgmhnieecolhgdafajb?hl=en
This would be really really helpful actually, especially for foreign players like myself that would highly benefit from taking notes in my native language inside the adventure pages.
Please!!! :D
Have you gotten this to work on dndbeyond? It doesn't seem to want to work on ddb but will work on other cites like wikipedia.
Still no luck with this feature or extension integration?
