It does give +5 to my passive perception. What it does not add is the "5' passive perception" in the part where it lists darkvision and the rest, that the Observant feat added - I thought that was the original issue? On the other hand it seems to be fixed now as Observant doesn't add that anymore either.

yeah, when I checked the 5' note was gone from my passive perception aswell so they must have resolved the issues (and there wouldn't be any point in sharing my character sheet because by that stage it was redacted.)
Just wanted to provide a bit of feedback (im sure much, if not all has been said, but here goes)...
- Would very much like for the export sheet to be more closely tied to the appearance of the sheet online. There also seems to be quite a bit of info displayed immediately online, that doesn't even make it onto the exported pdf. I know everyone has their own preferences for what info is most prominent, but it would be really nice if we had a way to either customize the export, or potentially have access to several presets. Even something as simple as a melee or caster preset would be nice, but a preset for each class would be better. Currently, my monk's ki point usage isn't available on front page, and in fact isn't even displayed on the exported pdf.
- Various perks/buffs are not displayed on export. Avantage being one of the bigger ones. I have magic items that grant advantage on stealth and initiative. Both are notated on online. Neither are notated on the export pdf.
- Would be great of actions, bonus actions, and reactions were shown on front sheet, and without detailed explanation. Would definitely prefer to see the action economy listed without explanation on front sheet, so as to fit them all onto front page. Most people know what the various action types do, and it's more helpful to see the reminder on the front page. explanations of each action and such should be reserved for later pages.
- Would be nice to see attack listed with a column designated to show what type of action they use. I have "unarmed strike" listed twice on my export pdf because its an action and a bonus action. Just list weapon attacks once. Have a column that shows what sort of action can be used to make the attack.
I posted this a long time ago and did not see any responses. Not sure if anyone at D&D Beyond will look at this, but here are some ideas to make things easier.
1. On the Ability Score page, if someone has picked a class, then highlight the score(s) that are for primary for the class. If I am using a new character class to me, I sometimes forget which one I need and flip back and forth.
2. When choosing Proficiencies, you start usually on Class page. Pick a few and then pick more possibly on Description page. Is it possible to put on the Description page a highlight of ones picked previously (or an asterisk) to donate the ones picked before.
As you might have guessed my short term memory is shot, so any help would be awesome.

1. That is quite subjective. Con is kinda primary for everyone, but based on what you want different stats would be primary for you. Fighters can use either dex or strength as main score, but eldritch knights also need intelligence, for example. I am having a lot of fun with a strength based warlock whose charisma is 10. Dex, con and wis are useful for everyone cause they are the most used saves, but strength and charisma saves can sometimes save your life, and your campaign might use them more often. So practically you could practically highlight all stats.
2. The description page does not allow you to choose a skill that you already got from your race or class. Adding them to the dropdowns just to mark "you already got this, choose something else" would be an unnecessary thing. And if you are like me who prefers to select background before class, the skills in the class selection mark the skills that you already get from your background (and don't list the ones granted by your race).

1. I agree it is quite subjective to pick the ability score. And I definitely encourage picking what works best for you. I am just asking that if you are new to a class, that it would be helpful to have the score(s) that are highly important (per Dungeons and Dragons cause they wrote "Barbarian Primary Ability: Strength) to the class to be highlighted on the ability page.
2. You are correct. This complaint was from 3 years ago, and did not realize D&D Beyond had fixed it over the course of time.
I am having issues with the character sheet. I have a 6th level mage who receives his second school per the players handbook. Unfortunately there is no way for me to select the second school nor have I found a way to add it directly to the character sheet.
As a wizard you only get the 1 school (eg school of abjuration). If you are talking about the 6th level arcane tradition feature; look under class features on your character sheet.... just out of interest what school did you pick? (because if it’s say school of transmutation and you’re looking for the transmuter Stone, you may need to add it as a custom magic item if you can’t locate it in equipment).
Hey so, the new update that just came out seems to have changed how some spells are listed.
It removed any spells from the Attack action that didn't have require an Attack role. So all spells, like Acid Splash, don't show up under the attack actions because it requires the enemy to make a DC Sav. It be nice if there could be some way to either choose which include/exclude these spells. Much easier for a character to have all of their actions listed in one place instead of having half their attacks under the action section and half their actions under the spells tab.

Hello there hollowtpm,
There is a slightly cumbersome way to get those spells to display as attacks. You have to go to your spell tab, and click on the spell you want to have in the attack tab. Click on “Customize” and then click the “Display as attack” check box. Unfortunately, you will have to repeat this for each spell you want to appear in the attack tab.
I mean sure - but prior to this update it was already being done by DnD Beyond. So I figured I'd throw in that it be nice if they could add that back in.
I second Ohmz's suggestion on character sheet customization and would love to see the ability to export different formats and/or customize the layout. The online layout is amazing, and I know it's difficult to get it all to work in a paper PDF fillable format, but some customization would be wonderful. Just like Ohmz stated, I have a monk and would love if Ki points could be on the front page instead of buried online in the actions.
Really hope Curse can continue develop these excellent DnDBeyond resources and provide even more customization and refinement.

That's going to be difficult since Curse no longer own D&D Beyond (it is owned by Fandom).

Yeah, but isn't that because Fandom owns Curse now? :D I would presume they wouldn't make the mistake of suddenly changing the developers who's been working on the site...

D&D Beyond is a company and the devs work as employees of D&D Beyond. D&D Beyond used to be owned by Curse.
Fandom bought D&D Beyond from Curse, so Curse no longer own it, Fandom do.
But it remains the same D&D Beyond staff and devs.
Curse never provided devs or anything, nor does Fandom. It's D&D Beyond's dev team, and they remain mostly the same.
I know you were just referring to "the devs" - my post was more to update you and mostly be an attempt at humour. >.> Which, I guess failed. T_T

Sentinel Shield does give you a +5 to your passive perception
Let me rephrase: I added Sentinel Shield to some of my characters, equipped it, and I didn't get the 5' passive perception on them.
