I'm happy for you. When I click it, it just shows the spells that are that spell level, not the other spells to be used at that level. Again, more clicks than were required previously, I also prefer to be able to actually read the spell before casting, which...oh look...ANOTHER cluck, scroll, click. That is not more simplistic operation. I'm glad you like your paper.
It was more clicks on the older sheet.

Maybe, like, explain what you're seeing without hyperbolic text-yelling, maybe provide a screenshot?
Because, what you're describing makes no sense, through the lense of what the rest of us have on our screens.
in the actions tab when doing custom actions theres no notes area. instead a snipit area which does nothing. Can you please change snipet to notes so it actually shows under notes in attacs section. the description works as intended.

YES! PLEASE! this would be super helpful and has been frustrating me too. Or just add Notes section
Double checked after update last night. I am still not seeing +2 for my rod of the Pact Keeper reflected in my magic initiate and pact of the tome warlock spells that do qualify for the +2 to DC and/or to hit. Any help here would be appreciated. Thank you!.
You took magic initiate (warlock) as a warlock?
Yes I did. I gives me 2 more can trips and I can cast hex once a day as a first level spell. Along with my Rod of the Pact Keeper II I can cast 4 spells in 1 combat instead of just 2. Seemed like the thing to do as pact of Tome. I wanted to be more of a caster and the GM/group doesn't prevent me from multi-classing but highly discourage it and this seemed like a way to do it. I am also, looking for pearl of power. I had one but a party member stole it and then the player stopped showing up so I have no way to get it back.
The lack of inflection in text means that a reader of any post adds their own inflection as they "verbalize" it in their head. I write long and repetitive in an effort to be clear and avoid my intent from being skewed or inverted. I am also bad at examples. It is common for people to skim my posts pull out the idea they think I mean or want to argue against or focus on my bad example instead of the point I am actually trying to make. I apologies for the confusion my failure to be clear and concise creates.
Is there a way we can add items and have it automatically adjust our gold? Specifically for magic iteams
Like a 'Buy' option for items? That would be useful for character creation, rather than play though, since a DM can change prices as they wish.
Enough groups don't change prices much that it would be quite useful during play. But also, prices could be adjusted in the sheet as you're buying stuff.
I know you got a whole lot of feedback about collapsible menus, but the current sheet could really use some. At the moment its so hard to find abilities and features between all the snippets of information and features in extremely long lists. It feels like I need to know my characters ability's off by heart and then I find them in the sheet to mark off and see exactly what they do.
I really like the sheet overall in terms of looks and where things are located. I also love the snippets and think they should all stay like they are, but I would love an option to make things collapsible. Have an option where only headings are listed in each section, click to open the snippets, click again to see full detail.
Doing this would mean, for those who want it, the sheet is easier to read and cleaner. You could just scan through your sheets for different abilities and be reminded about things you have. I know some people don't like this, so I think this should just be a sheet optional setting.
There seems to be a lot of useless information in class features, which really clogs up the flow of information and are listed in other obvious areas. Eg. Second Attack for Fighters, all different proficiency, etc. This kind of stuff is listed on the left of the sheet, so there's no need to waste space in these areas where the user is only interested in their ability's.
It's certainly much better with the 1 window, but please collapsible menus lol.
Otherwise it's coming along nicely with the way the spells are handled being allot easier to work out. I know you've put the known spells in alphabetical order in groups of spell level, but maybe a small gap for each level would make it clearer what level the spells are. I know you can filter certain spell levels but even a break ie
Wrathful Smite
-2-
Aid
would seperate the levels and make it easier at a glance
Great job so far and really appreciate you guys taking stuff on board!
The ENTIRE reason I use DNDBeyond...was the fact that it was very easy to read the spell right in front of me, I didn't have to hit extra things to see what the spell did, it was also very easy to upgrade the spell to a higher level. Neither feature seems to be available. WHY WOULD YOU MAKE THIS LIKE PAPER?? I paid for your content. I want to be able to use it on the fly while playing, this interface doesn't allow that...this interface makes DNDBeyond USELESS for my needs.
Useless? I just can't fathom how you got there.
Even completely without the character sheet or campaign management -- toss those out for a moment -- DNDBeyond gives you all the content, as it is made available, completely up-to-date on errata, easily searchable, with bonus cards for important things (not everything I wish, but ok) and it's all completely official and legal and AT HALF THE EFFING COST OF THE BOOKS FOUND EVERYWHERE ELSE!
I call that a huge improvement of the way to get content. And they're still working hard and being transparent and listening to feedback to make things better.
If anyone says that DNDBeyond, even in its current state, is useless, I call Godwin on you.
It was more clicks on the older sheet.

MFBadwolf,
could you post a link to your character please, so a moderator can take a look and see what might be causing the issue that you're experiencing?
thanks,

I don't see the buttons for long rest and short rest on the mobile version anymore.
Click on the Avatar of your character, there you'll find the options for short and long rest.

I don't know if this has been asked already.
When a character has advantage or disadvantaged on a saving throw, this is mentioned at the bottom of the saving throws box.
It would be nice, if advantage or disadvantaged on a certain skill could also be mentioned at the bottom of the skill box.
I get adding custom attacks in the Actions panel, but adding custom weapons should be in the Equipment panel. Or am I missing something?
Yes please! I keep forgetting I have advantage on Perception checks. Even just the green dice icon would help

Here's one.
MIlestone/ xanathar's style checkpoint tracking. Can we get some sort of mechanism for this on the sheet ?
