I understand that everyone's solution to party funds/inventory is to just use an open space on the character sheet, but with the system as comprehensive as this, I would love to see a separate page on each of a "campaign" players sheets that was considered a shared resource section. It would include a currency section as well as an inventory section that was activated with the addition of a Haversack or BoH. Even an indicator to say who has what on them. From a traveling DM standpoint, to be able to see all the players inventories without having to have their character sheets up at all times.
Anyway, add to my wishlist for D&D Beyond being a phenomenal tool, more so than it already is.
I would love to see this as well. One of my player's solution to this was to make a character to be the bag of holding. The problem there is that only one person can claim the character, and so only one person can edit it (2 including the DM). I'd very much like some sort of group inventory editable by everyone in the campaign.
You can just go and remove the weight on items you would typically keep in the bag of holding. That's what I do then I record the weight those items would typically have in additional notes to make sure I don't exceed the weight a Bag-o can hold.
Has there been any progress on adding separate containers to the inventory system? I like the auto calculation of carry capacity but I end up having to turn it off when I have a wagon cart horse or bag of holding due to it adding everything in one pool.
Not really. Containers for individual character inventories has been live for a while. Last I’d heard, party inventory is still something they want to do.

Staff are planning to implement an inventories system, that will allow for bags of holding, as well as shared inventories such as a cart or home base.
I like the idea of an option for increased visibility for inventories!

Thus far it's worked very well.
Feel free to throw it against the wall and see if it sticks! Happy to contribute and love the system.
Loving DndBeyond so far and a shared/party inventory would definitely be amazing! 😁

Was about to ask about this as well, awesome options

I would also like to know :)
It’s on the roadmap, but development hasn’t started yet.
