I was looking at the Preferences in the character sheet after reading the latest feats/multiclassing prerequisites update, and I don't know if or how many times this has been suggested, but I was thinking. I imagine this would be something that could be a part of the Content Management piece that will be coming to the site later on.
When I create a campaign, I'd like to be able to toggle not only what sources or content is available for player character generation (with as much granularity as possible without becoming too unwieldy), but also these prereqs and other preferences like advancement type, HP, encumbrance, etc. Then if a player joins the campaign by building a character, these things are automatically set by default in the builder. Or if a player tries to join with a character that is not set up with those preferences, they get a pop up that invites them to edit or create a new character.
I actually really like this idea. Campaign Settings that will automatically generate for any character that is added to the campaign. There could even be a red flag or something if a character has already been made but doesn't fit the rules, that would be neat too. That way if a character joins and they did manual scores and not point buy then we would know.
Came to propose this, only to see that it's already been proposed. I'd also like the ability to choose which of my sources are shared. For example, if I want to disallow SCAG content but I own the book, I'd like to unshare SCAG.

This is a great idea!

I can't believe this doesn't have more responses. This is exactly how campaign options should be!

Brilliant idea.
