it's not an animation, it's a simulation. there are no numbers without the dice rolling.
Animation and simulation are not antonyms. And yes, there are numbers, the dice rolling is just a fun way to show you the numbers. The numbers were generated first, then the animation simulates the rolling of dice to display the numbers.
that's literally not the case here. The dice rolling "animation" is a physics based simulation using a random seed to determine speed and direction of the dice throw. turn off the animation, there's no physics, there's no numbers.

Trying to get your physical content on Beyond is like going to Microsoft and saying "I have a physical Playstation disk, give me a digital Xbox version!"

While the true difficulty depends on how they've coded the page, having a setting that determines whether to use simulated dice or a simple random number generator is unlikely to be especially hard.
I don't know if this has been requested, but a lot of people in my group would like the ability to create a character sheet fully manually. The Character builder is fantastic for official things, but for our homebrew stuff, it would be great to be able to enter everything manually. Creating a homebrew for every single thing can get tedious (especially if what we want to be able to do isn't "within the bounds of the game")

If you want things that dndbeyond is not set up to do, then anything you would be able to "type" in would not function on dndbeyond. Not trying to be rude or a smartass, but what you want is called a piece of paper and a pencil, or a super complex excel spreadsheet if you go high end.

(Or an editable PDF character sheet. There are many out there, and it sounds like one of these would probably be perfect for the group.)
Please give us an option (perhaps a preferences slider in profile settings) to permanently hide legacy content! I know a filter has been added when searching but it would just make things easier than having to continually apply that filter.
Add a "favorite" button to each character, campaign, or other things that make sense.
Please remove the four big buttons on the home page. Use that space to show favorites. I've never used them. If I need to do those things, I know where to go, or can mark them as favorites.

If you export your character as aPDF you can edit it, so then you get your template but can add anything you desire. Only useful as a paper copy though, as noted above no integration with the DDB portal and linked digital data sets etc.
For some reason I can search for monsters in the rules by movement type, but I can't search for homebrew monsters by movement type. That would be nice to have.
Allow homebrew feats that give access to spells to use spell slots, its extremely irritating to work with homebrew when all my spells show up as "at will" despite not being a cantrip.

That is literally what everyone else in my group did when we first discovered the dice roller on DDB.
It pronounced Den Sake. It is not Japanese.
Website character sheet not working fix (Hopefully)
Semi-Expert at homebrew, just ask for my help.
A character changelog and ability to return to a previous version.
We do bones, motherf***ker!

Great topic.
Fixing homebrew (especially feat) so that it works well or at least easily with Avrae.
Especially being able to add modifiers or edit things easily such as a consistent roll of -5 for +10 damage.
Or an effect to be added and actually added if someone fails a save.
Loving all the features the new buttons sounds great.
How about making the menu a frame so it stays at the top when you scroll down the pages?
A drop down menu on scrolls with appropriate leveled spells which adds a single use of the chosen spell to your spell list would be great.
A like button for comments on here so we can "vote" for things we'd really like to see added.
Black up-arrow on the bottom left of a post.
In portrait mode only
Thanks!

Ha, balls.
Would be nice to allow subraces of a homebrew race to group under them like with regular races.
