Currently, the specific artisan's tools have just the basic description for that category of items. Could I recommend using the specific descriptions of each tool set from Xanathar's Guide? For example, for woodcarvers tools, change:
"These special tools include the items needed to pursue a craft or trade. Proficiency with a set of artisan's tools lets you add your proficiency bonus to any ability checks you make using the tools in your craft. Each type of artisan's tools requires a separate proficiency."
To:
"Woodcarver’s tools allow you to craft intricate objects from wood, such as wooden tokens or arrows. Woodcarver’s tools consist of a knife, a gouge, and a small saw."
Subscriptions to share content? Its way cheaper for me to buy the sub from them and share everything I own with all 16 of my players (across various campaigns) than it would be to have everyone buy the content. I also don't mind supporting dndbeyond since they offer a great service at a super reasonable price. The benefit of having access to adjust things on my player's character sheets or homebrew items/feats and have them auto-calculate everything based on the ability scores of the players I give them to is invaluable to me.
If you're just wanting them to give things away then I'm sorry, but that is ridiculous. They put tons of time and money into making these tools work the way they do, and if you don't want access to them you can purchase the text of the books via the compendium option for way cheaper than you could buy the physical books from a gaming store or Amazon.
I'd like to see an option to create items. Not magic items, just regular items. For me personally, I'd just like to add a Kalimba for my Bard to play, and I'm sure there are plenty of other mundane items that players would like to add to their character sheet.

I agree that it would be helpful to have the ability to create items; it's an oft requested feature, and more voices helps them sort out how to prioritize this feature. In the meantime, you can add custom equipment to character sheets for things like a Kalimba.
1) I was wondering about adding folders and other ways to sort characters. I DM for a campaign, and play as a player for others. I use the character creator to make both my PCs and my NPCs, but my "My Characters" page is getting cluttered. Some kind of folder system to make sorting my characters simpler would be amazing. A similar function for the Encounter Builder would also be nice.
2) One of my favorite homebrew rules at my table is the ability for characters to multiclass into above level 20 characters. It helps players to freely choose to multiclass without fearing that their characters will never make it to Level 20. I understand that there are no official optional rules for this in 5e (yet), but an option to make custom rules for this in some fashion would be amazing.
3) Said this before, and was told it is in the works, so I'm more stating this one for any possible update, I am wondering about a function in the encounter builder to track initiative and enemy health. It would make the encounter builder much more useful in-game, and help DMs to more easily manage all the numbers coming their way.
An option in the filter menu to only include owned sources would be amazing.
When I am looking up monsters I am only interested in the monsters I own. Currently I have to remember what sources I own and manually select them in a non-sorted dropdown menu. Same for equipment, magic items, feats etc.
A simple toggle button in the menu, or an option to "select all owned sources" would be a major QoL improvement.
Maybe this has already been addressed, are we going to see an option to use the alternate ranger class features presented in the same UA as the Swarmkeeper? Ranger's been needing help for a long time, they've finally offered some aid in that regard and I'd really like to use it on character sheets.

There are no "alternate ranger features" in the UA that includes the Swarmkeeper. There is a different UA with alternate class features for all (or most) of the classes. Adam Bradford (general manager for DDB) has said they plan to implement the alternate class features, that that it will take time. The class system wasn't set up here for variants, because when it was designed variant class features didn't exist. If this is something WOTC is going to do, DDB needs to build a system that will accommodate not just the UA variants, but potential future variants.
Fair enough, conflated the two in my head. I've seen the talk around implementing such a system previously and I get that its involved. I'm glad they're still working to implement that change. Did they have any even vague idea of when that might come about? Sometime next year maybe? I imagine they're taking the time to do it right, hopefully including support for making homebrew variant features as well. Not trying to pile on the pressure, but it'd be nice to have an idea if there is one. Can you point me to where you saw that mentioned?

It certainly won't be this year, as DDB staff takes the last part of December off. They don't do ETAs or the like. It was discussed on a recent Developer's update, which can be found on their Twitch channel. I thought there had been comments from staff to that effect on the forums here, but I'm not finding them now.
I would also love to be able to organize my Characters in whatever order I choose by just grabbing on and moving them instead of doing a filter and/or sub-folders would be nice. I would also like this for the encounter builder, I could separate encounters by campaign and then put them in the order I think they might come up.
When you equip a weapon can you equip it to offhand. Seems it would be fairly easy to implement
Already there: in your equipment list, tap on the weapon in question; choose “customize” in the pane that appears; check “dual wield”; you can change the name, too, so you know it is set up for dual wield/offhand.
It used to be called offhand, but rules purists pointed out that it isn’t ever officially called that, so they changed the terminology to dual wield.

There's no concept of 'off hand' in 5e rules. You can hold a weapon in each hand. You can then attack with one of them as an action, and if they both have light, or you have the right feat, you can attack with the other one (not adding some modifiers). The game does not make a distinction between 'main hand' and 'off hand'.
Two-Weapon Fighting
When you take the Attack action and attack with a light melee weapon that you're holding in one hand, you can use a bonus action to attack with a different light melee weapon that you're holding in the other hand. You don't add your ability modifier to the damage of the bonus attack, unless that modifier is negative.
So you could be holding a dagger in one hand and a shortsword in the other and either attack with the dagger as an action, adding your ability modifier to that, then your shortsword without the modifier, or vice versa.

Doesn't that mean functionally that one of your hands is less capable (off)?

Regular items are on their to-do list, I believe.
