You guys could implement some sort of linking between the areas of a DM map and its actual description on the web site. It would make dming only using beyond way easier.
It's on the roadmap.
Yay!!!

Add Override Function to Carrying Capacity in Character Sheets
I love the carrying capacity feature, and I implement it in my games, yet whenever my players pick up a Bag of Holding or some kind of pack animal, I just begin to disregard carrying capacity rules in my games, despite the Bag of Holding's 500lb limit. I would love to see the ability to add 500 pounds on top of the existing carrying capacity, or better yet, a way to organize what is being held where. For example, when you equip a bag of holding, you can designate which of the items in your inventory are in that container, or when you have let's say a Draft Horse in your creatures section, perhaps you can assign items to there as well!
It would be insanely helpful if compendium content had a reference to the page number of the physical books...
I use D&DBeyond almost exclusively, but I speak with people that don't, it would be nice to be able to tell them where they can find the information in the medium they are using.
Designing your own classes? I have some really cool ideas I'd need to to modify into sub-classes to publish them; unfortunately customization of the class traits and features themselves are very limited, which hurts the flavor and potential of the subclass.
I would like to see a map builder or something that allows us, who have bought the books and resources, to use parts of them to create battle maps and stuff! I love the encounter thing too! Also, maybe a way to integrate social media links in your sheets, as I will be streaming a campaign and want my players to be able to display their links through their sheets or accounts!
When making subraces and variant races for homebrew races, the "parent race" dropdown only includes official races. If homebrew subraces and variants could be properly linked to their parent race, it would save a whole lot of space on the race selection page, since as of now, every subrace has its own box, instead of being condensed like normal.
Similarly, homebrew races can't be selected to use as a base or template when choosing "Create Subrace" or "Create Variant", although they can be used as a template when creating a new parent race. This isn't as bad, but it does mean creating subraces or variants for homebrew races requires navigating into that race's traits and adding a subrace from there.
For pages like the feats and spell pages, could we get an ‘expand all’ button? Currently I can’t search (ctrl-f) the text of feats to find one that let me up my dex, or spells that have effects on undead. Expanding all on a page to reveal the text rather than having to manually open all the individual items would be really helpful.
I'd like to see the ability to purchase 3rd party content packages. I can't create an accurate character that has any sort of additional content without having to code it myself. Open up your platform to 3rd parties, please.
Thought of something running this week's game that would be insanely helpful.... A DM summary page. A page where the DM could easily view and/or manage multiple characters. Instead of having to go to each player's character sheet, get the most commonly used data in one place. Data like init, saves, languages, also XP awards, party loot, etc.
Reference the search bar. As I begin typing and it starts populating suggested pages, it would be a great QoL upgrade if clicking on the search suggestion automatically submitted that search, instead of needing to hit enter after clicking it.
This constantly gets me, and I'll realize 10 seconds later it's not just taking a while to load
Hey, idk if you guys are already planning on fixing this, but in the mobile app you can only sort spells by class and name? Could we get the ability to sort them by things like level? (and school maybe, but mostly level) I will say, I'm very happy you guys added the filter by subclass feature!
Might have been mentioned already, but here goes. In the character builder, there is a homebrew icon that let's me know if a race is homebrewed. Can we get similar homebrew icons or (warning popups) for everything else that can be added via the builder?
As far as I can tell, the character builder/sheet does not track spell slots for multiclassed characters. Instead, it just shows the slots for whatever level you have in your spellcasting class, but ignores the extra slots you get, for your total levels.
I can't help but wonder what happens if you have 2 spellcasting classes...

My Paladin 4/Bard 4 character is showing the correct amount of spell slots. My Sorcerer/Warlock multiclasses are also showing correctly.

Working as intended. You don't get extra spell slots based on total level; you only count the levels of spellcasting classes. A wizard 3/fighter 17 will have the spell slots of a 3rd-level wizard, while a cleric 6/paladin 14 will have the spell slots of a 13th-level caster (but will only be able to cast spells as a 6th-level cleric or 14th-level paladin).
I am a bit new here and someone correct me if this is already possible but I would love a way to create a homebrew class instead of just a subclass. My players love using DND Beyond but I’d like to be able to give them that option if they want to play an entirely homebrewed class.

It would be great if during character generation we could limit the available options to certain books. I'm thinking of scenarios where you own/have access to the Legendary Bundle (or books U-Z) but the group is limiting itself to books X,Y,Z.

Hello! I have but a small request.
Add Override Function to Carrying Capacity in Character Sheets

Thank you very much for all of your hard work!

It seems "everyone" is adding their suggestions in this thread...
I made a suggestion on making Character Sheets (and maybe other stuff) appear in a pop-out window. You can see the suggestion here, and some examples on how it could look: https://dndbeyond.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360028569634-Make-an-option-to-open-Character-sheets-compendiums-etc-in-a-pop-out-window

Haven't seen it as an character option, but adventure's league log sheet tracker to be attacked to a character.
