I use the encounter builder all the time, as a DM it's invaluable to me and one of the main reasons I use D&D Beyond. I would really like to see a filter in the encounter builder when searching for monsters that automatically filters out content I don't own. I've tried selecting what I own individually from the sources filter and checking the "remember my filters" box, but D&D Beyond never remembers my filters and it's such a chore to do that over and over. Thanks!
When making homebrew items and monsters, everything should be on ONE PAGE. I have no idea why you have to navigate to a new page to edit movement speeds or other modifiers. I've lost so much work from editing attacks and abilities to then go to edit movement and have it all erased because I didn't click Save (which reloads the page), then click Movement (which goes to a new page) then click save again. This really shouldn't be that tedious.

THIS!! This has got to be one of the most requested features for the site, and the fact that it is not yet implemented after years is almost criminal.

It's intentional, because WotC's goal with D&D Beyond is to sell you more content. It hasn't been out of the goodness of their own heart that they spend X millions running a website. They're showing you "what you're missing out on" to get you to buy it. I found it more surprising that they added it to the VTT.
I really, really want to have homebrew classes! I think its been said since 2017 that this will be happening... we nearly reached 2026- I hope this will happen (soon)
Labels for things that they know don't work, so people don't use them thinking it's right. And for the love of everything, improve the search. Most things are unsearchable because they only tagged the old books.

so true searching for something is so annoying i go to look for the 2014 rules on something and its so buried or pretty much deleted bc of them forcing 2024 so hard

Yeah, I'm aware of that tactic, and I'll tell you (them) what would work better on me: Restore the ability to purchase individual monsters/spells etc... in micro transactions rather than requiring the purchase of full book sources. I would definitely spend more money that way. Also speaking to the efficacy(or lack thereof) of the current approach (showing me what I'm "missing"): for myself, here's what it makes me do: Get frustrated, wish DnD Beyond was better tailored to my needs, and then go look up the stat block I can't afford on a different site where it's free, and then run my encounter in a notepad document with a calculator instead of using DnD Beyond, so it actually drives me further away from the platform.

I'm sure that the bean-counters did the math on whether that was working, and are evaluating not having it now. The continued "not having it" tends to indicate that they think they can make more this way.

True, although these are probably the same bean counters who helped think up the new OGL and thought Project Sigil was a good investment of time and resources, sooo.....
I'd like to see all the Unearthed Arcana releases get DDB support. Put them all in one free book, that way they can actually be playtested with DDB.
They used to be supported back before DDB got acquired by WotC. Even back then they realized it was a poor investment of dev time to spend time doing work that very rarely wouldn't need a complete overhaul once the finalized version came out. I believe everything from after Revised Ranger to before Strixhaven Subclasses got supported on DDB, so they had a lot of data points on the RoI of supporting UA on DDB.
Chapter 1 is suitable for all players’ eyes, while chapters 2 and 3 are intended for Dungeon Masters only.
I know I'm not the first person to ask for this feature, but I'd love the ability to do that within DDB natively. I can only enable sharing and share the entire book with my players, then ask them not to look at Chapter 2 or 3. While I trust my players, at least a couple don't trust themselves and have asked for this feature as well. A few modules I've run (specifically Dungeons of Drakkenheim and Waterdeep Dragon Heist) have extensive player-facing materials ideal for sharing, it seems counterintuitive to not let us highlight the value of DDB by sharing it with our players.
I’m just looking for something that is simple to read, use, and navigate. Love the character sheets but I wish the homebrew page and development were easier to use. And transferring characters, I wish I could send them directly to the other person in our campaign. Like we built it on my phone but leaving a character for our member takes me off the group. Could y’all fix that?

I'd love to see this too!
Same!
I know there are more than a few interesting ones out there from other publishers. Kobold Press for one/
I would like a toggle for classes that get certain bonuses to attacks or damage like the Barbarian Rage Damage for Str-based weapons. Click the box when the character is Raging and done.

another thing to add on to here:

What I can never have, support for older versions of the game. It would be an absolutely monumental task that wouldn't drive sales unfortunately.

I would love to have working extensive Homebrewer tool. I am talking classes, subclasses, feats, REAL custom items etc.

tl;dr: Per chapter sharing would be fantastic.
