Not exactly my top want but something I thought of today. I'd be nice to have the Sage Advice Compendium in the Compendium and have a pop-up notice with a download button whenever a new version of it is available.
I would like something that allowed you to map out your character's progression and be able to save it. Taking the idea from all the build calculators out there for MMORPG's.
Yes, I realize I can technically keep leveling up my character and write down the additional feats/spells etc per level. But being able to work things out a little quicker to give me the opportunity to min/max the character would be ideal, And then save that road map for future reference.
1. Character creation needs to be reorganized. The PHB workflow frankly doesn't work. Needs to start with Ability Scores, then Race, then Background, then Class.
2. As part of the Race and the Background/Description sections of character creation, ALL officially published languages need to be listed in the drop-down, e.g. my Bedine Human from the Anauroch speaks Midani as part of the Far Traveler background (it's on a table in the SCAG.) While those languages may be fluff for Adventurer's League players, some home games may need that and it's a simple fix. Edge case, I know, but this sort of thing is important for AL players where once you're locked in at Tier 2, you can't change anything just because your chosen toolset doesn't have the option you need from the book.
3. As part of the Description section "Height" and "Weight" should have "random" buttons next to the fields based on the PHB table in Chapter 5 for those of us who like to be surprised, and also because sometimes a Goliath walks (crawls) into a Halfling bar, or that gluttonous Rogue needs to cross that rotten-looking log across the chasm.
4. An encounter builder that features selectable thumbnail tiles/cards for stat blocks so that a DM can see all the Monsters and NPCs in an encounter while being able to quickly reference them when it's their turn or a player chooses to take an action of some sort against them, i.e. all thumbs feature the Name of a specific type of creature with a thumbnail image below and when selected expand to the full stat block. Being able to specify the number of each with HP and condition trackers and arrange them on-screen by initiative order would be a nice touch, but paper works just as well.
5. Adventurer's League functions. This would include a checkbox for AL on the first step of character creation which would reveal a drop-down for your PHB+1 selection and subsequently limit all other options in the creation workflow to just the PHB and selected source options, with perhaps a flair or other mark on the character sheet to indicate to an AL DM that the character is legal without having to pore over every detail. Also, integrated logsheets for characters; and DM rewards and DM Quest tracking as part of a user's profile.
Same here. A more defined roadmap, which is communicated more effectively and consistently, would go a long way for me. The whisper of a hope that the campaign management tools will soon include something less insulting than a couple of (really limited) text editors will go a long way towards me wondering whether I've essentially wasted over 300 dollars (not including sub).

As for your first point, you know you can skip around in the character builder and do it in whatever order you want, right? And for your last, they're already planning on implementing AL support.
I have a separate thread about one of these points, but I'll talk about some wants here.
1. I'd really love for the item homebrew to be a bit more robust. Right now it's template driven, and that means you can't deviate away from certain core stats which makes creating new weapons a bit of a pain. I.E I can't see a really clean way to make Bad News from the Gunslinger module Matt Mercer released on DMsguild. The idea behind Homebrew is to be able to create items that you want, and as it stands right now you can only get about halfway there.
2. I'd really love to have the different styles of play from the DMG added in. For example I don't see a way to switch your game over to the Spellpoint system, which is a system I've thought about switching to for the next campaign that I run. Basically this would mean we'd need to do the math for it, rather than having the tool do it for us. Would also like to see things like the Madness Points variant have an option turned on. Pipeline dreams, but things I think are needed. They're officially supported variants in the DMG, and not homebrew rules.
3. I'd love to have a way to add a bunch of monsters to some sort of table to print off. I really dig the quick hit sheets that this site has for monsters, and often have to use the snipping tool to put them into a photoshop template and print. Would be nice if there was some button to add it to a list, to just print the sheets off directly from the site. Would make life so much easier.
4. While the encounter builder would be nice, I'd love other things like Loot generators, and the like. This is way more in the "in a dream world" situation, as opposed to a need.
Yes, this. To have something similar to Fight Club or Encounter+ that utilized the monsters I’ve purchased through DDB is really the next big thing I would need.
An ability through the combat manager, or just a section of some kind, where we can easily create roll tables. Choose what type (encounter, magic items, etc.) and then populate it by using purchased and homebrewed content for easy clicking when using that roll table.
I see a lot of good ideas here. I have a very simple one I'd like implemented.
> The ability to create maps with grid markers for character positions. Or, at the very least, the ability to upload picture documents to campaigns for custom maps or creatures.
2 options for the "Gladiator" background. One being an actor and gain more points in charisma and dexterity or a fighter that spent its entire life fighting for the thrill and gain fame and glory
1.Maps that have zones/numbers that when hovered would give you a brief description, like the simplified monster statblock on hovering.
2.I understand the need to have a simplified, less formatted text so it would be well scaled across devices/platforms, but please add a bit of background art to the campaigns. Interesting layout/art is sorely missed. I get that most of the times as a DM you only need the notes - but a little finesse would go a long way.
3.Homebrew collections ? So I could create some homebrew content, give it a collection tag, and someone could the pick the whole list that I could be still adding to.
4.Homebrew campaigns/custom campaigns ? I have a few one shots and other stuff 'd like to have in my DNDB account at all times. Could we have some tools to use that would result in a similar look to the currently existing campaigns ?
6.Advanced/Expandable/Popup statblocks. Hovering over a monster gives you a simplified statblock. I'd love to have an expand button that would unroll the whole thing to more details. Or instead of following the mouse have it static in the page, the way you have around here the "Spoiler" collapsable blocks - so I could open up the goblin statblock and have it persistent in the page. Best one though if possible, I'd like to be able to pin this, as in keep it persistent as a popup separate frame in the page, move around, scroll, open up a new monster SB, lay them out, etc.
I would like to see forward progress on the character creation and management system. It has potential, but at the moment, it’s quite a ways from being the best option. The developer streams indicate they’re working on it, but the last few months, the experience does not seem to be improving. I’d also like to see a way to sort characters, such as npcs, into different folders, etc.

I'd like an Auto-Counter for Ammunitions, to help keep track of how many you have left.
an app that has all the homebrew stuff from this website for free

Kobold Press Materials such as Tome of Beasts and the Midgard Material for sure!
Ability to add bonus feats to characters as a reward for training.
Ability to add a la cart bonuses to abilities without having to make magic items for everything.

2 more slots in character creation.
2 options for the "Gladiator" background. One being an actor and gain more points in charisma and dexterity or a fighter that spent its entire life fighting for the thrill and gain fame and glory
Kobold Press's Midgard Heroes Handbook, with its new races, new backgrounds, 50 new subclasses and 300 spells, for sure! That's my #1 wish.

7.Adventure League integration
Posting for emphasis: Kobold Press/Midgard material :-D
1. Homebrew not-magic items.
2. Encounter Builder.
3. The ability to read other people's campaigns.
4. The ability to CREATE CLASSES AND SUBCLASSES FOR THE LOVE...
The main thing I would like is a pact weapon button that took all of your warlock abilities into account and applies them to a weapon.
