I think this would be a great idea. In the meantime, some possibilities for recreating TOA NPCs:
-Use the homebrew monster system to recreate them; spells, etc. will be hyperlinked. Or at least will if you set it up right; start by copying one of the casting NPCs from the Basic rules like Archmage to see how it's done
You know, there is one big advantage to being cheap and entering it myself as a homebrew - by doing that I am becoming very familiar with all of the traits and abilities of my monsters and NPCs! Bonus!! Of course my lazy side keeps whispering "it's only $2.99 for this and that, which will take you a couple hours to enter - isn't your time worth more than that?" - and then 8 or 9 things later you own the whole module anyway... ;-)
Rule for drama. Roll for memories. If there isn't a meaningful failure condition, do not roll. Ever. (Perception checks, I'm .... clunk, roll, roll, roll, stop... 14, looking at you... maybe?)
I play a lot of Adventurers League. D&D Beyond does valiantly as a character creator until you bump into one very important detail: PHB +1. There’s no way to filter the character creation to suit this very specific rule. Can I have a filter? Adventurers League Y/N, drop down menu appears: Name your additional source.
I would love to see new on/off switch added in the preferences on the character sheet. For the weapons and equipment listed in sections Firearms, and Explosives from Chapter 9 of the DMG. I feel like they are a separate enough of a concept to warrant a restriction in some–if not most–campaigns.
I would love to have Unearthed Arcana content available to use on my characters. I may just not be seeing it, but I don't seem to have access to UA options for building my characters on the app.

On the “home” tab of the character creator, the toggle next to “playtest material” needs to be on (red).
More UA content (Revised Ranger comes to mind, also Geo-sorc, etc)
Home brew creation tools are poorly designed and frustrating to use. UX on these tools needs a drastic overhaul.
All current UA with the exception of Class Feature Variants are available for free on this website. The CFVs are harder to program and required DDB to basically overhaul almost every piece of software they have ever written to accommodate them. Those overhauls are ongoing, and include the homebrewer.
For dead UAs that were thrown in the wastebasket like the Revised Ranger, those are dead and buried and will never see the light of day again. So WotC (the company that actually makes D&D) told DDB (the completely different company that runs this website) to remove them from the roster. Since DDB is contractually a blighted to comply with the wishes of the game’s publisher, they complied and “archived” them.
If you want to play something like the Geo-Sorc, you will have to create a private version for yourself using the homebrewer.
Probably the ability to put allied NPCs on the side of the characters in the encounter builder. For example, a mage who is assisting them to defeat a hydra.
Here is something I would like to request. I use my Google account to log into DDB. It would be super swell if that could somehow allowed me to use their photo hosting for pics instead of needing another account with a different photo hosting server to imbed pics in things. I mean, I already use them to host my photos, and obviously my DDB account is in some way linked to my google account. One would think it should at least be theoretically possible. Just an idea.
More adventure hooks and “modules“ to support non creative/time poor DM’s like me who can tell a good story but struggle to maintain a campaign for me specifically In Wildemount. James and the rest of the writing team have done a great job but I need more and since the DMs guild isn’t licensed to create more as a DM I need you Guys to step up. As I am sure a lot of DM’s would also like.

This is a forum thread to give feedback to DnDBeyound. DDB does not publish D&D. Wizards of the Coast publishes D&D, and a completely separate company runs this website. This site is basically an online bookstore that only sells D&D products and has a bunch of fancy bells and whistles for us to use with the stuff we buy here. That means that this company can also not write any officially licensed Modules for you either. You would be better off sanding this request to WotC if you want them to publish more modules.
I would suggest though, get your hands on some of the older modules from previous editions of D&D. Many of them have been updated to the current rules. The great part about them is that they are generally shorter, they don’t go levels 1-X and then stop. They were designed to actually be “modular” which is how they got their name. If you have about 8 or 10 of those, you can rearrange them and fit them together however you like.
the ability to allow DMs in a campaign to add a character himself - cause not every campaign is a campaign but a way to create and archive characters for players only.
I'm all for this. It would be great if DM could set up campaign with pre-made character sheet and then assign or share them with the group. Basically, drag and drop from DMs characters into the Campaign to help keep it organized, etc.

Would love to be able to model my character at any level, then view at the level I need to play.
Right now I can create a character at any level, but when I drop levels to play on game night, all of those choices are gone.
It be something useful to be able to have a character complete up to level 20, and then select the playable level...
Lots of people copy a character, and then have one copy leveled up and another as playable.

I would most enjoy an adventure builder that allows us to plot our own modules as if they were pro content.
Forge - Arena Wizard Tank
Exhaustion and other conditions affecting the sheet real-time (disadvantage, reduce speed etc etc.)
Dice rolling automatically with disadvantage or advance if available.
Can we please "fix" the "Spell scroll" item?

They are already working on an AL compliance feature

I'd like to see a few things:

Not all those who wander are lost.
Check out my Monsters, Magic Items, and Spells. (These are all links.)
A virtual TTS system enough to simulate battle maps with tokens and grids. Would be willing to pay a separate tier for such a feature

Hello there Solanchi,
They will build one. It is on the roadmap. Look in the “Planned” column. https://trello.com/b/vIKxuEs8/dd-beyond-feature-roadmap
