I am new to D&D beyond, only have free content right now but I am interested in buying content that gives me more options in the Character Build. Is there a way that I can set the Character Builder to show ALL possible options and then have it redirect me to the Marketplace when I try to choose something I don't have access to?
I don't know enough about D&D to even know what options I am missing out on, to figure out what I should go buy.
I don't think it's programmed to lead you to the marketplace, but at the start of character creation you can choose some content to allow when making the character.
If you're looking to buy access to new content for the character builder, then your top priorities right now are probably:
Tasha's Cauldron of Everything for "Customize Your Origin", optional class features, the Artificer class, and a large number of subclasses
Xanathar's Guide to Everything for a large number of subclasses
Mordenkainen Presents: Monsters of the Multiverse for a large number of player races
Also keep in mind that DMs with Master subscriptions can make a campaign and then share their sourcebooks with the players who join them. Depending on your DM, you may not need to buy anything unless you just want to theorycraft.

Unfortunately not.

There’s a smattering of other stuff in other books, but those four👆will get you the most possible content for your purchasing dollars (and now’s a good time to buy because DDB is running a 15% off sale).

Not just the DM, if anyone in the campaign has a Master Tier sub they can activate Content Sharing.
For flat out viewing of the options, the Game Rules dropdown seems to show at least the options. Getting the details on stuff you don't have is hit and miss, but at least you can see titles of stuff and races and so forth.
'Sposta's reply on the best order to buy in (best "bang for the buck" order) is legit. PHB first, then Tasha, then Xanthar's and Monsters of Multiverse if needed. I say Xanthar's and Tasha's are of equal value, opening a number of options and some rule variants that can enhance the experience a fair bit.

Talk to your Players.Talk to your DM. If more people used this advice, there would be 24.74% fewer threads on Tactics, Rules and DM discussions.
This makes sense and is the same thing I was thinking, but that's just so much money to burn just for streamlined character creation capabilities. I can already do the same thing on other websites for free except more timeconsuming since you have to custom add any content which is outside Basic Rules. Even with the sale going on now, that's like $100 just for a more convenient method to do what other websites provide for free.
I was hoping to save money by only piecemeal buying the specific abilities we wanted to use on our specific characters, but that would be easier if we could see the options and prices for each to know what we are missing

You can add any content which is outside Basic Rules for free here too using the homebrewer. It’ll take forever, but you can do it.
You can see the prices for each á la carte purchase here by following those links I provided and scrolling down.
Edit: Remember, DDB’s entire business model is based on selling convenience.

Be careful, you're technically promoting piracy.
The hell I am. PM any Mod or Staff member and ask if we’re allowed to enter official content into the homebrewer and they will all tell you the exact same thing: “yes, as long as you don’t share it with the community.”

No, he's not. The staff on the site actively encourage it. You're not allowed to publish such homebrew, but it's entirely allowed and within the rules. You are supposed to have the physical or another kind of legal copy, though.
At $1.99 per item or less, I would have to question the wisdom of doing it - if it takes you more than 15 minutes, you're better off working at minimum wage job and paying for it than doing it yourself, and that's assuming you're not using the multibuy. If you want all the subclasses from PHB, for example, you'd have to get it down to two and a half minutes per item. For the whole book, it's about a minute and a half. That's assuming you get paid minimum wage in UK/US or similar rates.
Unless you've maxed out your earning potential and you're still struggling to make ends meet, you're probably better served just paying. It's not an efficient option - it's just a free one.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
Thanks for the tip on scrolling down for individual prices! That works almost as well as what I was asking for, but I never knew about those a la carte menus before
Also I'll check out the Homebrew options, that's basically what I've been doing on other websites, I didn't realize that DnD Beyond had the same thing

I would start with the PHB. After that would be (in order) Xanathar’s, then Tasha’s, and finally Mordenkainen’s.
