I looked up it in Wikis and discussions and one thing is clear. Either you know what it is, or you don't. Reading about it is the same. If you know what it is you probably understand what is being talked about. If you don't have context, well I have better luck with Latin, and I've had high school Spanish.
To my knowledge "weave manipulation" is not a 5e mechanic. The Dnd wiki is notoriously unreliable, so I wouldn't put much stock in what it says.
The wizard information does mention the "weave" of magic a few times, but the mechanics of what wizards do is spelled out pretty clearly, without using the term "weave manipulation."

Nope, using straight Wizard (Evocation). I took this straight from my sheet. (I added underlines because the boxes didn't copy.)
"Sculpt Spells (Special)
When you cast an evocation spell that affects other creatures that you can see, you can choose a number of them equal to 1 + the spell’s level. The chosen creatures automatically succeed on their saving throws against the spell, and they take no damage if they would normally take half damage on a successful save.
I just created an Evocation Wizard to test this myself and don't see "Weave Manipulation" anywhere on the character sheet. Sculpt Spells is their 2nd level feature, but that's it. Could it be that you somehow selected a homebrew Race, Feat, or Item that gives your character this ability?

yeah, there's zero mention of Weave Manipulation in the Evocation class in the Player's Handbook. Given the formatting you copied as well, i'd say you may have inadvertently grabbed some Homebrew class.

It's an ability granted to you by that 'Ethereal Friend' feat, which I've never heard of before and seems very homebrew. Did your DM give that to you?

"Weave manipulation" was just a fancy way of saying you were casting an arcane spell in Forgotten Realms.
Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
