With the talk about features that require DM buy in, it makes me wonder how they will handle Illusion magic/spells which have been heavily DM dependent.
Also it’s confirmed (unless it was earlier and I missed it) there will now be 48 subclasses (which we knew already) and exactly 4 per each of the 12 classes. Guess all those cleric domains and wizard spell school subclasses are out.

I'm fine with that. Two classes with a billion subclasses just makes everything more confusing.
As a side note, I think the fact that even some of the least-liked things in the UA "satisfied" most people disproves the notion that everyone in the world - save one or two people - hates all of 1DD with all their heart.

I'm looking forward to seeing what they have planned for the warrior classes! My group tried a one-shot using the last couple of playtest sets and we pretty well enjoyed the class changes. Hopefully, we can give these ones a go as well.

It won't last. Subclasses are the easiest way to make new products attractive to buy. There'll be four subclasses for each class in the PHB, then we'll have the same habit of releasing a subclass with every book that 5e saw.
To be honest, I don't mind. It's only really a problem if you're fairly new. I just narrow down the choices to the ones at hand - do you want to be using weapons, using magic or being sneaky? Ok, these are the classes that support that kind of character...these are the subclasses, and they have these flavours to them...etc. I might restrict which ones are available to keep the choices simple, but I don't find the 100+ subclasses I have available an issue, because I'm used to it, and if I'm teaching new players, I can restrict the choices to make it easier.

We don't know what their percentages mean. Percentage of people rating it at least 3/5? I do hope their internal analysis is a bit more sophisticated than a single number -- how strongly people approve or disapprove is also important.

Starting all the classes out on equal footing makes some sense, but yeah, that's interesting with regard to wizards especially. More emphasis on Bladesinger/Scribes style subclasses, I guess?

I imagine there will be a “Specialist” subclass that will account for specializing in any of the8 schools of magic.
10. Eldritch Blast has not been removed, but it doesn't exist on any of the new spell lists. More info when the Warlock arrives.
Sounds like they might be going the class feature route on it, or something similar, which... meh
Seems like a good change to me if they do it. As it stands it’s basically a cantrip tax if you play a warlock. Class feature allows for more options.
I know people have it stuck in their heads that Warlocks Must Use Eldritch Blast, but they really don't
They don't 'have' to but agonizing blast just makes it blow every other cantrip out of the water even without any other invocations dedicated to it.
Even without Agonizing Blast it’s still the best combat cantrip in the game. Force damage alone puts it above even fire bolt, and the versatility and consistency from having multiple attacks with it blows any other cantrip away. Agonizing Blast and the other Invocations take the best combat cantrip out there and make it ridonculous.

To be fair, cantrips in general are kinda cruddy. A longbow blows every other cantrip away too. If you want to have a class that's mostly about cantrips, you need something on the scale of eldritch blast with agonizing blast.

My ears are ringing. but in all seriousness pretty much. By and large I haven't really liked the UA and have no plans on playing it in it's final release so I see no need to fill out the survey. And don't get me wrong there are somethings I like in the UA but they are things that could be optional rules or sub races, nothing that would need a new edition. And before anyone asks yes despite the fact that I don't really like the UA I am still keeping an eye on it, but that's because just like a cat I'm curious.

Seems plausible. I wouldn't be surprised to see a choice of EB or a few other similarly-powerful abilities, possibly linked to choice of oath or patron.
Interesting with the satisfaction numbers. Crawford said if something gets 70 percent, they take that as, people like it but we need to tinker with it a bit. If something gets above 80 percent, that means the community is pretty much saying leave it as it is, it's good. In the 60's it needs some real work. Below 60, probably not going to do anything to bother with it. 50's-40's and below they'll definitely drop it completely.
Most everything in the first UA were 80 and up.
Also, about 40,000 people "engaged with" the survey and more than 39,000 people finished the survey.
And he describes them diving into the written feedback, in particular about the dragonborn and the ardling, to see what people didn't like. And also, into the other races.

Yeah, but we can pretty clearly see that this is not universally hated. And while JC and co may not have told us the exact metrics they are using, they seem quite confident that their statistics have given them an accurate measurement. And since they stated several times that they had people thoroughly study the surveys, my guess is that they have gotten numerous pieces data out of it but are only showing us the one that is clearest and easiest to understand, but still representative of the data as a whole.

The least rated "D20 Test" includes also the crit rules from the first UA. So, that is probably all gone for good.
Overall, liked the vid a lot, gives some insight into their workings. Hopefully, they keep it up that way.

I was saying before the best thing they can do to make martials more interesting is to make weapons more interesting, so this is really promising!
