I played a Death Cleric Aasimar who was a worshiper of Jergal and a member of the Companions of the Pallid Mask - a sect of the Scriveners of Doom under Jergal. She would try to get the names of all the people who died and if they were teetering on the brink of death, would hasten along the process. She was an undertaker who would prepare the living for death before falling in with some adventurers and took particular issue with people skipping out on death by trying to become immortal.
Appearance was very Jack Skellington, though obviously still alive, and they had a very unsettling way about them. A very 'love what you do and you'll never have to work a day in your life' but they are a mortician. Walked with a cane sword and wore a tall top hat.
I play a Aberrant Mind Sorcerer for an annual Halloween game. He's a human who underwent a partial/failed ceremorphosis. He was highly disfigured by it and wears a cloak to hide his disfiguration. I took a lot of mind control and mind flayer themed spells (and flavored some other spells to fit in with the concept).
We rolled for stats which included a 7 and a 9 that I put in Strength and Dexterity respectively. His Con was ok and his Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma were all quite good. Hardly optimal but I liked the idea of him being weak and somewhat immobile from his experience but also highly intelligent in addition to his high charisma.
I played a fighter/rogue assassin style guy who had limited blindsight, and the ability to cast Darkness. He was a scary dude.
He'd snap his fingers, see? Walk in the room, close the door. Lock it.
'Ooh, what happened to the .... light?' *snap!*

Blanket disclaimer: I only ever state opinion. But I can sound terribly dogmatic - so if you feel I'm trying to tell you what to think, I'm really not, I swear. I'm telling you what I think, that's all.
Not creepy per se, but dark. I have a character that was the reborn lineage from VGR and the backstory was that he was petrified for thousands of years. When he was turned back by an adventurer, his body was much different than what is was and he had very little memories of who he was before being turned to stone. His body and clothes are pale grey and he is covered in vines that grew into him while he was stone. His main goal is to find his memories. However, the very few ones that come are faint which never fails to bring silent tears to his eyes. He has no name because he wishes to find his old name.

That sounds so cool! I’ve been thinking about an earth genasi shadow sorcerer for a similar backstory but that’s so much cooler!
She was actually. She was creepy in her whimsy and intensity. You could probably call her aggressively friendly, with no real obvious difference in her behavior between her friends and those she was just about to deliver the killing blow to.
Mine was a fallen aasimar battlemaster fighter. She was missing her left arm--she'd had a fight with a werewolf, and it bit her. She couldn't be sure she wouldn't change, so she made sure. It was a hoot to play her as human in appearance and then to pull out the transformation, which involved ink-black eyes, ghostly skeletal wings, and shadows dripping from her blade. We were playing the adventurer's league season set in Barovia, and she got it into her head that the best way to survive was to become Strahd's love interest...
I played Jim, a rogue/warlock. GOO. As he got more powerful he lost his hair, his skin turned white, and he started to sprout eyes all over his body. His eyes turned entirely black. I had more body horror planned, but stopped playing for various reasons.

What’s your favorite creepy/spooky character you’ve made!!!
Mine was a hexblood echo knight warrior!!! She was very witchy in theme, and her echoes looked like faceless mannequins she could use to attack!

Very fun to play actually.
Healing spells? Never heard of them.
