I have never asked or said I wanted the discount stacking with a physical book or bundle, just what I was sold when I bought the bundle which was only digital products and stacking with sales on future purchases. I missed that you thought I was wanting that in my last reply.

This post is not about SALE discounts, but BUNDLE discounts, which are distinctly different.
Sale discounts will continue to stack with Bundle discounts where applicable. Ie if a book is on sale and you own the Legendary Bundle, you will get both discounts.
Bundle discounts will not stack with other Bundle discounts as has always been the case. Ie if you have the Legendary Bundle and you want to purchase a digital + physical bundle, the higher of the two discounts (the 60% discount on the digital part of the digital + physical bundle) will be applied. This is how it has been since digital + physical bundles first launched.

Like Davyd said, this update is specifically about bundle stacking, which I threw in here because I felt some of you might be looking for this info also. Charge it to my head that I misremembered the epicenter of why this thread was created.
Regarding your bundle discount stacking with non-core rulebook sales, it's gonna depend on the sale. Additional discounts for bundle owners will be called out in the sale messaging, as has been done before.

I am having a hard time following this, I do not care about physical books or bundles containing them, they were not a thing when I bought into this on this site. I am not asking for anything more than what was sold to me when I bought the legendary bundle.
I will ask the question I would like answered.
Will my legendary bundle discount continue to stack with sale discounts on digital books like it did before the store changed?

Thank you for the clarification, no charging required. I understand the thread you made was specifically about the Legendary Bundle discount stacking with other Bundle discounts such as the new Core Rulebook Bundles (Digital ONLY vs Digital+Physical).
My question in this thread did not relate to the subject of your thread, rather to the contents of the link provided in your post which also included general language that was NOT specific to the Legendary Bundle discount stacking with the new Core Rulebook Bundle discount.
These include the headings such as "How do discounts work for Legendary, Sourcebook, or Adventure Bundles on D&D Beyond for digital content?" as well as "What digital content is eligible for discounts as part of Legendary, Sourcebook, or Adventure Bundles on D&D Beyond?" which are relevant to this particular thread we are currently responding in titled "Bundle discounts no longer stack with sales in the new store." and less to the new Core Rulebook Bundles, the subject of your post.
Depending on the bundle, owners receive 10% or 15% off standard-priced single digitalsourcebooks or adventure books ... purchased on D&D Beyond.
We will continue to offer your 10% or 15% discount on standard-priced digital Sourcebooks or Adventure books ...
Multiple discounts cannot be stacked.
and
Standard-priced single digital Sourcebooks, Adventure books, ... created by Wizards of the Coast (first-party) containing only digital versions of those books are eligible.
The explicit use of "Standard-priced" multiple times here seems to suggest that single digital books (Again, not talking about other Bundles) on sale are excluded from being eligible to stack with the Legendary Bundle discount, hence why clarification on the use of language provided in the article was needed. Similarly, the use of "Multiple discounts cannot be stacked" under a heading that is not specific to the new Core Rulebook Bundle discount naturally suggests the same.
The following however seems to clear up the matter in a manner that wasn't originally clear from the article alone:
Sale discounts will continue to stack with Bundle discounts where applicable. Ie if a book is on sale and you own the Legendary Bundle, you will get both discounts.
Regarding your bundle discount stacking with non-core rulebook sales, it's gonna depend on the sale. Additional discounts for bundle owners will be called out in the sale messaging, as has been done before.
So we can now rest assured that future sales on single digital Sourcebooks, and Adventure books will stack with the 15% Legendary Bundle discount, as it did before.
Once again thank you very much for the clarification!

Perhaps they were referring to sales on single Third-Party digital content, because I do not recall a First-Party digital single book sale that explicitly stated the 15% Legendary Bundle Discount wouldn't apply.
I guess we will only know for sure in the next sale that comes.
