Bundle discounts stacked with Promo Codes when the codes used to be offered. As for BD stacking with offered sale discounts, I wanna say if it did, it was only when the sale discount was only 10% off I think.
It's been some time that I have been away from here, but things have definitely changed. I still don't know what to think about all that is going on.
The Bundle discounts definitely staked with sales that were up to 40% off (+potentially more), with the larger of the two discounts applied on first and then pre-purchase discount applied second. The Bundle discounts stacking with sales was confirmed in the official article made by the D&D Staff that kayakingpoodle pointed out:
Pro tip: you can even stack these discounts with our single book sales! Getting into bundles early and capitalizing on single book sales is a great way to maximize your savings on future book purchases
There is no ambiguity here, the new marketplace reneges on an offer that the previous one established.
Operative word there being “offer”, not “agreement”. Unless and until an agreement is made setting additional terms, either party of a transaction is free to withdraw their offer. Yes, shockingly a for profit enterprise made a decision to maintain or increase profits, but this is not a nefarious case of double-dealing; it’s just the exercise of one of the basic principles of a free market.
It became an agreement when the offer was accepted.
For purchases at the time, sure. But just because you buy a burger for $10 today doesn’t mean that restaurant can’t raise their menu price to $12 next week. That particular interaction of discount stacking was how they chose to offer sales discounts in the past. It doesn’t oblige them to run all future sales the same way.

Yes the 15% discount on future purchases including sale prices with the purchase of a legendary bundle. That was the agreement made when I bought the legendary bundle.

I wasn't arguing the "why" of it. Point being try as some might (and did!), what you can not do is outright deny that the old marketplace honored the stacking of discounts as it was intended to operate. If pointing out that yet another updated behavior of the new marketplace that came unannounced constitutes as "entitlement" then frankly I couldn't care less about that commentary.

You claimed they didn't stack discounts, I produced evidence they did.
Now you are claiming it was a limited offer, it is time for you to produce some evidence, not just move the goalposts. Where does/did it say the discounts stacked for a limited time?

From what I have been observing across numerous post within this forum, when WotC bought the site, the expectation that they ( WotC ) would continue to honor the "Offer" or "Agreement", per former terms of sale agreements, of applying former A-la-carte piecemeal purchases that even included piecemeal whole book purchases that counted toward different tiered book bundle offers. [ bundles like the source book bundle - 10% off if you bought the bundle of all the books at once, or though piecemeal one-at-a-time spread, if you managed to complete the source book bundle books included in bundle checklist, then you though longer means got the same thing. one person can do it in ether 5 mins or 5 years.]? Now, Hasbro, WotC, and DDbeyond are doing business as usual, and Well Whatever reason can anyone give me to even consider purchasing anything until all this new edition crap is settled?

I appreciate the acknowledging there is an issue. I'm hoping for as complete a breakdown as possible of how these bundle agreements purchased prior to the elimination of the bundle packages from the store can apply to future sales. I know one of the selling points of getting a Legendary Bundle was a certain percentage off of future purchases.
Do those discounts apply to the physical+digital that have come into existence since I purchased mine?
Now that the dndbeyond store and the wotc store seems to have merged with the digital and physical products, which part does that discount apply to?
Can you acknowledge that previous individual "a le cart" purchases not being applied in the new cart issue and that would be included in the trouble ticket?
It's the lack of transparency through this whole roll out that has a lot of customers very unhappy. Personally I have not purchased a WotC publication, digitally or hard copy, since the start of 2023 due to the repeated issues and controversies at your company. I want you to succeed. I want the $1000+ I have invested in buying things from you to be worth it. Everyone on the internet has a million things they want from you, but to stay on topic to this thread, please just give us answers to the above questions and any others this thread has.

As far as I am concerned I would be fine with the discounts stacking on digital only purchases as that is what I was sold and I feel the current physical/digital bundles are a great deal as is and feel no need for them to be added to the original deal I bought into. I am also fine with the discount stacking to be a "grandfathered" deal as it has been handled historically with any changes akin to the recent changes her on DDB in any other industry I have done business with for as long as I can recall.

To add to this, the "a la carte" discounts apparently don't stack with the sale discount? From a ticket to support: The discount system for the D&D Beyond Marketplace is optimized to provide customers with the best discount for their purchases. At this time, discounts and offers in the Marketplace cannot be combined. If in a future sale the discount on Tomb of Annihilation was larger than the discount provided by the unique code, that is the price that would display.
This disincentivizes me from purchasing modules I have bought a la carte in the past, because I am now paying more overall than a customer buying one now on sale does. I used to by spells/backgrounds/feats a la carte, then buy the book on sale closer to when I needed that content. The discount stacked for years. Not anymore...
I guess filling up my back catalog isn't gonna happen.
