Till now I have just used DnDBs free option but with a bigger campaign with lots of players coming up and the fact that we will be using the 2024 rules I have decided to finally buy the core rulebooks and the master tier subscription.
We will be playing offline, so I guess the boni (like virtual dice, etc.) won't be really useful, so I am not sure if I should buy the three book core package right now, is there a good reason to?
Also, I am not even sure if the DMs guide and Monster Handbook are useful for me, since all I want is for the players to be able to create and uodate their characters.
Is there something I have overlooked, aka. is the a good reason for me to buy the three books (now) instead of just the players Handbook?
And how long will the pre-order boni be given out, the official release date or only the 3rd?
Please help me, I don't really have a lot of money to put into this hobby but I want for my players to be able to create their characters in an easy way and DnDB seems to be the best option.
Preorders and the preorder bonuses will be available through September 16th. Subscribers who purchase during the early access period for their tier will receive early access as well.

So considering the second part of of my question, is there anything in the DMs guide or monster Handbook my players can use to create Characters or is it just reference material for online GMs (which I am not part of)
And is there any reason to buy them now instead of (maybe) getting them later, when they are out?

Outside of a Moon Druid needing the new Monster Manual for higher CR beasts to Wildshape into, if you are just looking for player options then the PHB only should suffice

The advantage of buying them now is that you get pre-order bonuses (mostly cosmetic stuff). If you have a subscription, then you get them one or two weeks early, depending on the tier. If neither of those particularly appeal...then I wouldn't bother. Instead, wait for them to come out, see if you like them, then make the decision then. If you are definitely getting them...then pre-order for the bonuses, I guess.
As for whether to get the DMG and MM...if you're not going to use them as a DM, then I wouldn't bother.
The MM is almost purely for DMs. The only advantage to having it is for Moon Druids so they have more options for Wildshaping (I believe virtually all options for other Druids will be present in the PHB). If you're not willing to splash the money out on Moon Druids (I wouldn't blame you), then it's only useful for the statblocks for encounters etc. If you're using alternative means for those...then there's little point. The only other thing is that 2014e had a small section on infecting PCs with lycanthropy (werewolves etc). Not really worth that money, but for the sake of accuracy and completeness.
The DMG is even more just for DMs. It will have optional rules, but if you decide to implement them, I'd just teach the players. DMG2014e had a couple of subclasses and an additional race...but again, if you're already sorted for DM advice etc, I don't think it's really worth the money just for those - and they weren't great options, they were mostly examples of how to create your own.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
The DM guide does give you magic items which are key to most player's fantay. It will also have the bastion rules which add a layer of customizability that players will love.
If I were on a budget I would wait until they end early access copies of the DMG to youtuber so you can see what they think of it before you buy. Even then if you wait till after they release the dmg and they update the magic item database you might just find that the publicly available magic items are more than enough for your campaign.

What time on the 3rd (including timezone) will the PHB 2024 be available to master tier subscribers?
Thank you for your answer, that is good to know.
D&D Beyond will be undergoing maintenance on September 3 from 5 AM to 9 AM Pacific. It should be available after the maintenance ends.
The entire site, including the forums and marketplace, will be unavailable during that time. We appreciate your patience!
