Okay so that was a nice surprise to see it was opened up even further for home-brew etc. But things like create a campaign are not really an option until launch. My questions are this...
1) Is the SRD for beta only and it will be opened up to include further rules at launch?
2) Will the launch include the actual official content of modules and books for purchase? Or am I confusing it with roll 20?
3) What is the launch rumor?
4) In the home-brew can you add in your own PDF's or Doc to put an entire home-brew module in there with maps etc. Or is it strictly limited to creating items, spells, monsters etc
Looks like it has potential from the initial rollout, but having only SRD content really makes it unusable. I guess we'll see you later this summer when you get the real content loaded up and we'll make the decision at that point as to the value. It's difficult now to test (or test play) in a real game as I have no characters with SRD only builds.

I have no characters with SRD/Basic Rules/EEPC-only builds. I have no players with characters with SRD/Basic Rules/EEPC-only builds. Phase 1 contained most of what I use.

I ran my particular character through the character creator to see how it worked, and for the most part its really good! My gnome rogue is a forest gnome and assassin but neither that sub-race /class wascavailable. Can I assume that this is indicative of limited options until the official launch?

For the beta, only the rules and options provided in the D&D 5th edition SRD , D&D 5th edition Basic Rules, Elemental Evil Companion are available in Beyond. Once the full platform launches later this summer, the core rule books and others will be available for purchase, and the content within will be available for those that purchase, or have access through a DM's subscription.

It's probably unusable in the sense of filling in your real characters to use for game play unless they are SRD compatible. However, for testing purposes, I've been filling in what I can to see what works and what doesn't the way it's supposed to and giving a heads up in the support section of the forums.
So far what I can see looks great aside from a few bugs here or there. But that's what the beta phase is for.

Homebrew Races and sub-classes have been confirmed.
If you publish homebrew that breaks the copyright of WotC material your homebrew will be rejected. However, you can have whatever homebrew you want in your personal homebrew and can share that in your Campaign that you create with the Campaign Manager (sharing homebrew in that manner is not yet in, but will be soon).

1 - 2 - All official content will be available after launch at a cost.
3 - Launch is later this summer.
4 - Right now homebrew is limited to magic items, monsters, and spells, but it will be opened up to many others as the Beta continues.

How about homebrew classes or races?
I also saw in the guidelines that we cannot make homebrew that contain
Does this mean if I upload a feature that matches something published for a class it will be taken down?
If it isn't published what happens?
