I'm excited for the official launch of D&D Beyond, and I will be purchasing several books and a DM-tier subscription day-of, because I've had an overwhelmingly positive experience with the beta so far and I can see the value it provides.
So naturally, I've gone to bat for you guys in several forums, as there seems to be a major disconnect between what this service offers, and what people expect.
I think a lot of confusion exists because people don't want to read through forums for clarification, so I think it would be good idea to compile all of the information into one easily-digestible source.
I know you are very busy leading up to the launch, but every time it seems to come up on reddit or facebook, it's the whole same argument all over again.
This post makes a very good point, I think it would be valuable to break it down as to what you for what you pay. Start with free then go from there with the different sub prices including all the features. I would assume that all of the details of the features will be made known BEFORE the actual release for sale. Mostly I"m talking about the campaign management stuff, encounter tracking etc.
With the platform being changed still (sometimes daily by staff) based on feedback from the users, creating videos at the moment might be premature. It is something that the other mods and I have spoken about - and we have put it on Badeye's ever growing ToDo list. We jsut don't want to have to be updating a professional How To video every 2 days.

That's a very good idea. Thanks for the feedback!
