"Here you go maties."Wolfe throws some of his rations in the ring hoping they are enough of a distraction for them to cross the cave. Animal handling: 20
Rabbit will grab some of her rations to throw to the wolves as she passes.
(Are there 3 wolves - like on the map? I might have missed it but not sure if it was said specifically.)
(Rabbit Animal Handling: 8)
Yes, there are three wolves.
Okay, that's good enough to get you all to the back of the room where the narrow fissure is. [everyone deduct 1 ration from inventory, except Edryd who already has].
Looking into this narrow fissure, you see that it ascends about 30 feet up into the darkness. At the base (near your feet) is all manner of garbage and offal - you would guess someone has been using this as a kind of refuse chute. You don't hear any sounds coming from above and the stench in this wolf den is overpowering (or it could just be Edryd).
The chute is only large enough for 1 at a time, single file. If you want to climb it, you will need to roll Strength (athletics) or Dexterity (acrobatics) for it. On a success you are able to move half your speed into the fissure.
"Perhaps someone who is skilled at climbing can get up and throw a rope down to help the rest of us? This is an excellent chance to regain an element of surprise. No one would expect us to approach from this direction." Edryd says completely unbothered by the conditions. He bends down and starts picking through the refuge waiting for the others to respond. "I can offer my Lady's blessing to anyone who will try to climb the chute" To whoever tries to go up Edryd will place a hand on their shoulder, cringe as he says "Go with the Moon" casting Guidance

"Why do I get the sense we are moving up someones toilet. Are you sure about this Rabbit?" Wolfe says, but in vain, as she is already on her way up. He'll try his best to come up after Rabbit when it is his turn, trying his best to breathe through his mouth in order to ignore the stench. Acrobatics: 21 rolled with advantage in case of rope, otherwise go with first roll.
From my reading, Mau or Rabbit are going first? Are you trying to be quiet or? And when you get to wherever this is leading you want to tie off and drop a rope?
Rabbit begins to ascend the narrow fissure upwards. She is able to use her agility to get through the first half, managing to avoid the garbage, waste, and feces that she can see coats the fissure.
Rabbit, you're halfway there. Roll another str/dex (ath/acro) if you'd like to keep going.
[the above goes for all - the fissure is 30 feet long upwards and the going is not easy. It's damp and slippery]
Rabbit steels herself against the stench and continues trying to climb. (Acrobatics: 13, Stealth: 19)
Assuming she makes it to the top, she will first take a quick look about for any signs of danger, then look for a place to tie off a rope. She grabs the rope from her pack and lowers one end down once the other is secured.
Accepting Edryds blessing Mau before following. Mau ties a cloth round his face to try and counter act some of the stench and follows behind Rabbit, not waiting for a rope to be tied off, using the same path as Rabbit.
Rabbit, you get up to the exit of the fissure and there are a couple of stalagmites to offer you some cover in front of you so you pad over quietly and survey your surroundings. Looking around, you can see you're on the west side of a large cave.
Looking forward, to your left, which is the north side of the cave, a larger opening looks like it leads down a set of natural stone steps, the roar of falling water echoing from beyond. In the middle of the cavern, the coals of a large fire smolder are being tended to by a couple of goblins. Looks like they are cooking something. To the south, your right, you notice many sacks and crates piled up high. Looks like maybe this band has been doing ambush work for a while.
Elsewhere in the large cave, an additional 2 goblins move about, scanning for trouble, clearly on alert. Over near the east wall of the cave, you notice the bruised and bloodied form of Sildar Hallwinter. He is bound hands behind him on a chair and tipping a bit forward. In front of his chest, maybe a foot from it, is a vicious looking sharpened stake poised to run him through. It seems like the goblins have rigged up some sort of mechanism. Beside Sildar is another goblin, but this one looks different than the others - a leader, you'd guess - from his dress and demeanor. He scans the room as well. He holds a rope in one hand, that you trace back to the tipping chair that Sildar sits on.
So, six goblins in total, 3 of them tend to the fire, 3 of them on high alert (2 of which are patrolling). They have not spotted you at this point, and don't really seem to look in your direction. It seems as if Edryd's uncanny prediction might have been correct. Rabbit, you are currently hidden behind the stalagmite. The rest of you wait below. If you want to try to climb up, you will need 2 strength or dex rolls (acro or ath) and if you're aiming to be quiet, a stealth check (Krull, roll stealth with disadvantage as your large body fills the fissure to its maximum).
..........Mau, your claws scratch at the steep damp stone and you find yourself in the same position. Luckily you don't tumble backwards out of the fissure. Fortunately, you remain just barely silent in doing so, thanks to the sound of the water that permeates everywhere. Up ahead, Rabbit forces herself to remain quiet at the sounds. You can repeat the rolls if you like.
Mau grimaces as the wound on his shoulder sends pain searing up his arm as he reaches out for hand hold causing him to slip down the pile of filth. Spitting on the floor in disgust he stretches his limbs and makes another attempt to get up taking further blessings from Edryd.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Assuming he can use the rope Wolfe tries to climb the rest of the way up to Mau and Rabbit. Acrobatics: 21 rolled with advantage in case of rope, otherwise go with first roll. Stealth: 6
(OMG these rolls :-P)
Wolfe tries again, not at all happy about climbing up lavatory. Acrobatics: 20 rolled with advantage in case of rope, otherwise go with first roll. Stealth: 17
Edryd goes last, worried that he might make too much noise should he fall down the shoot. He takes a deep breath of the air, grits his teeth and mutters a prayer to Selune as he climbs up the filthy embankment using Rabbit's rope for assistance.
Athletics 1: 21
Athletics 2: 22
Stealth: 17
(Guidance for +2 as he prays the entire way. Advantage for the rope if that's a thing. Disadvantage on the stealth for chainmail, praying and Edryd's overall life choices)

Krull looks up and then turns to the group "can't say I am the best to climb it..I might get stuck "
Rabbit says, "I can try first, or Mau." She pauses just a moment, trying to get past the others. "Can drop a rope once up."
She appears ready to climb up, but clearly waits to see if Mau or someone else volunteers.
