(Did we manage to get the goats or other animals to pull the cart? Grim would happily use a ritual to speak with animals about it, and guide them if so).
Grim laughs a bit at Tysris' comment. "It's been a cold night in Icewind Dale for the last two years. Something's crawled up Auril's craw and stuck there fierce for her to curse us so. No manner of offering has calmed her fury yet. I pray Silvanus gives us guidance soon."
((no one pointed that out, but I think that it does make sense for Grim to do that. The animals could've presented with several arguments to follow you and help you with the cart. But I'd like to know if you promise them anything or your end of the bargain))
These are seven goats and six sheep. I think you could have 3 goats pulling the cart, and the rest follow the group. It is very unlikely that they'll separate from the group considering the weather so they'll just tag along for the ride.
(Grim would've promised each a good berry and that he would try to return them to wherever they were taken from or at least to find a farmer willing to take them. I imagine he knows someone in Good Mead who could take them and isn't planning to eat them)
To Dwalt, Grim responds, "If we're going to rest it probably makes sense to do so in the cave here. I'd be surprised if there's anything better for shelter around."

Seeing the others preparing to rest in the cave Sarya shrugs and helps out with moving the bodies out of there, stopping first to look at the charred remains of the verbeeg before moving on. She offers to take first watch but prefers Ghathi's company when she does this. Perception during watch: 20
Darby moves to find a comfortable spot in the cave, begining to use Prestidigitation to clean up the spot chosen for his rest. "Wake me for a watch... Now I must rest as everything hurts...."
(Ghathi Survival roll to try and tell about the weather or if a blizzard were coming: 23)
Even though there seemed to be small chances that an actual blizzard would hit that night, there still was a posibility, the weather was as cold as usual and the wind howled strongly.
The night came and went without the intrussion of any type of creature, maybe it was a known lair to the creatures sourrunding the area or just luck. By the time the next day arrived you al fell rested, there were no actual beds but the Verbeeg had enough pieces of wool and leather to put something together.
On the way back to Goodmead you found the same town with the same type of energy, maybe even more deppressed and desperate than before...that changed when the first villager spotted the small group returning not only with the casks of mead but a small group of animals pulling a cart.
"Oi! what happened? did you killed the Verbeeg?...we though you weren't return just like the rest of folks before you" - said one of the guys that ran to see if you needed any help with the animals...at leas that's the next thing he offered after he greeted you. You were able to see at the distance how some other villagers would spread the news and in the blink of an eye the whole town was outside of their doors cheering.
"If we killed the verbeeg? Of course we did. We took care of two of them, and their ogre and bear pets."Sarya proudly exclaims to the cheering people of Goodmead, clearly perking up with the positive attention. "This calls for a celebration." She adds, trying to further raise the spirit of Goodmead.
"Well, I guess wouldn't mind a reward for taking care of this verbeeg menace and getting those casks of mead back, but we already found plenty of treasure making all this worth our while, right?"Sarya says to Dwalt and Ghathi with a smile.
"I ain't worried about yer pieces of metal." Dwalt says. "But I know tha worth of them casks an Goodmead's reputation is on tha line so this is about business. None of them put forth an effort ta claim revenge or reclaim tha casks. If'n they refuse, we can take 'em to tha next town an sell 'em fer a profit or open our own little drinkin' hall." Dwalt smiles at his last part of his statement.

"Not as much as I here tell folks in tha lower part of tha world make but, "Dwalt pauses for a moment. "But enough ta profit off what we did."
Dwalt will try to figure out a good price that will profit the party, calling on his experiences with the locals.
Int roll: 5
Not being the business you specialize in is hard to tell, you know much you often pay for a mug of mead (4 cp) but the whole cask? might be worth hundred times more! or maybe a thousand!
((Whenever you wish to approach the people of Goodmead and let them know your demands please let me know, so far I assume this conversation is going on as you approach the town))
"But, isn't this your hometown Dwalt, wouldn't you rather be a hero for them than get a few extra pieces of gold for selling these casks back to their rightful owners?" Sarya says to the dwarf. "I mean I don't usually care to much about ownership and such but your town seems not so rich and I prefer living of the rich if I can help it."
“Seems like we have a good lot to sell this to right here. And I don’t know if we want to lug this all around ten towns trying to make the best deal.” He huffs and puffs as he helps carry and wheel the casks in. “As me pappy used to say, A bird in the hand is worth a gold nugget in a hay stack. Or somethin like that.” Tysris says with a whistling smile.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Listening to Sarya, Dwalt is lost in thought. After a moment he says. "Well, I'll agree with ya though, these casks represent a thrivin' business ta tha rest of Ten Towns ya may not know about. Goodmead can't make enough honeymead ta fill tha bottomless pits that serve as most peoples guts around these parts." Dwalt pauses again. "Kendrick is dead an' his murder has been avenged. I figure the shipments will start since tha threat is stopped fer now." he says. Dwalt turns to Sarya and remarks."Most heroes I heard of are dead."
Dwalt will wonder off and talk to a couple of folks he may know about what has been going on since the party set out.

Sarya gives Tysris a confused smile and a giggle over his peculiar saying. As Dwalt wanders off to greet the townfolk so does she do, trying to tug Ghathi along with her for support, telling the townsfolk of their adventures and the bravery of their companions, hoping to get the town to pay the heroes a reward for their services rendered to Goodmead. Persuasion: 16 (rolled with advantage should Ghathi support her with a help action, otherwise go with first roll)

Dwalt nods at Grim.
"If'n we're gonna stay here we best move tha bodies out an' then set up a watch so folks can rest." he says.
With that Dwalt will start moving the bodies the best he can outside, about 20 ft. from the cave entrance.
Tysris will help Dwalt pull the bodies and then take a watch in the cave.

Ghathi looks at Dwalt, "Paid? Do you mean trying to sell the pieces of metal that we found?"
