Feom their cave, a five quaggoths emerge, attacking the prisoners. The first claws at Caprain Sparhawk, whose blade is still dripping with warm drow blood.
As he pounces at Sparhawk, another quaggoth casts a spell and the ferocious predator doubles in size (and octuples in weight). The creature's claws dig into Sparhawk's armor 18 for 6+1 slashing damage. The large monstrous fine humanoid tries to shove the prisoner off the zerkwood platform 9
(Assuming the drow he attacked died, Sparhawk moves his hunters mark to the big quaggoth that attacked him)
Sparhawk looks at the drow guards again. "Final warning. Back down and pull off your beasts or face the consequences. I assure you, we are not worth dying for."
Attack 1: 16 to hit, 13 slashing damage
Attack 2: 20 to hit (Menacing attack: wis save DC 17, on failure: Target is frightened of you until end of your next turn)
Wysaleth takes a deep breath, as his body burns into mighty flames and scales appear around his body. (BA to Unleash Innate Sorcery)
He then creates a giant ball of fire, hurling it at the many quaggoths on the bridge. Before that, he used his Metamagic, so that the fire avoids Hurting Sparhwk and the other prisoners near the area of effect.
Fireball DMG: 31 + 5 = 36 ( +5 from my Elemental affinity which i forgot was a thing until now), Half damage if they succeed on a DC 18 DEX Saving throw
Start AI don't know about a big piece hand I went back a couple pages all the way to February 10th and did a search but I might have missed it. I don't know who cast big bees. Don't think it would be possible for you. Exited the cage because of the magic suppressing rooms but let me know
Baron says, "Okay, now I'm angry," and summons a giant tentacle to go flying at the guard. (Melee spell attack with advantage: 8,12+8=20 to hit for 21 force damage. Tentacle of the deeps will also attack the same guard, getting a critical hit for 8 cold damage. The guards speed is reduced by 10 feet.
This one, the giant tentacle is a bigbys hand. Part of the class flavor.
Got it. Sorry, I thought that was the class feature from fathomless warlock, mentioned in the same post.
I suppose it's also there. The maps are just to help keep track of things. If you know it's there, it's there.
For sparhawk, though, the guards are dead. There's an elite warrior you could reach by moving through an area of magical darkness and out again, or try to get across the webs. Without moving though, you've got the quaggoths that came out of the cave. These things are like 1 rung above dogs in terms kf intelligence and social hierarchy. The one does have psychic capabilites though, hence the enlarge reduce you saw. So, not sure how to direct the attack at the dead guards.
Wyselarh summons a fireball into the unseen reaches beyond the veil of magical darkness surrounding him, centered at the opening of the other cave, from whixh growls and get to have been heard all the while, and whixh he saw on the way in. The edges of the spell singe the other prisoners (and maybe Sparhawk) but it narrowly misses causes them any harm. The quaggoths, meanwhile seem altogether displeased with their lot, frantically hooting and running about.
<I don't know if they'll survive based on what Sparhawk's actual target was>
*Tess (cleric of Boccob): "God's, Baron, 'tis that necklace you got from the priest. It had a curse upon it most foul.well night have a peaceful night 'here it find it's way from your person... unless. I could remove the curse, but I would need to rest and pray to be blessed with that ability. Unkess, another priest.. no. It's too crazy. Why would she...?"
Ront grabs a sword from the dead guard and Buppido grabs a hand crossbow.
"I ain't leavin' without my axe," declares Ront, "These chumps messed with the wrong Orc."
"I second," adds Buppido "these elves have made a serious error in judgement. Now, their time of judgement is at hand!" He smiles malevolent. The pair use the opportunity created by the arcane explosion to withdraw from the fray, leaving Sparhawk (maybe?) To deal with the quaggoths, as they move to attack the elite warrior.
The pair make their way theiugh the webs, avoiding the clutter of humanoids and magic. Buppido fires a dart from his newly obtained crossbow as Ront assails the elite warrior head on.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The nimble drow avoids both the arrow and the sword as he waves his way through the fray.
<so was Sparhawk.atta king the elite.warrior or the quaggoths?>
Though the pair tread with ease through the spiderwebs, their movements did not go unnoticed, as 5 giant spiders come rushing toward the conflict zone.

The pair make their way theiugh the webs, avoiding the clutter of humanoids and magic. Buppido fires a dart from his newly obtained crossbow as Ront assails the elite warrior head on.
