Edena walks into the campground. "It does look pretty empty, but they are likely to come back. Wonder if they got chased away or went to chase after something? Anyways, lets set up here," gesturing to a spot empty of tents, on the other side of the campfire. "I can set an alarm to let us know if they come back, if you want."
“ Aye, that be a good plan, an alarm is always a food idea in these woods. Mr Julius is quite the stealthy fella, didnt even see him enter the camp, he heh.” Dungho would gather up some loose firewood in order to maintain the fire, keeping the flames low to conserve wood and to not drawn too much attention. It will be dark soon and he suggests everyone should pick a tent or space by the fire .
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Edena casts Alarm surrounding the fire and campsite. It the full campsite is more than 20 square feet, she prioritizes where the group is sleeping. She notes all of the party as creatures that can go in and out at will, and the alarm is audible. She then says, "Alarm's all set up. I'll take 2nd watch." She sets up her bedroll near the fire, and then, if it is still light out, takes her bow and goes about 20 feet from camp to see if she can see any game or other food.
Investigation to spot edible animals or plants - 7
Attack and damage with longbow if she spots a small mammal, like a rabbit or squirrel - Attack: 9 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. (Should be 1D8+3, but it doesn't seem to be showing up)
Survival to harvest plants or prepare meat for cooking - 18
"Julius" would venture a bit into the woods, removing his gloves that he wore, as he went out of sight of the group he would remove his hood, if anyone noticed they wouldnt be able to tell his appearance to due to the shadows but could head bird like chirps.

( i have some special tables for hunting, fish and gathering plants. So we will need to roll for each, using your nature or survival bonus. Do you want your 10 for the animal table or the plant?)

(I would be interested in joining. I'm really wanting a Oath of Vengeance Hexadin---but Hexblade also not a basic option?--to keep things simple to manage, I'm a V.Human. What level are PC?)
sniss would look up from his notebook, which was filled with drawings of the plants and animals with all of them named something new, and sit down and try to start a fire
(This is Jason Castle. Note that compelled duel wasn't on the D&DB list, but it's one I would plan to use. I will also try to keep as close to the D&DB as possible, making adjustments as needed).
Jason Castle has been on the trail of those who slaughtered most of his town, and took several children, including his sons, into one of the trafficking rings. Unfortunately, the trail gets confusing, as he enters a forest.
"A Kobold? It seems like I must take care of this...Raven Queen? You mean I'm to work with this...creature? Yes, I know I shouldn't judge, but a Kobold? Well, you've done right by me, bringing me from the brink. So be it."
Erdon looks at the new comer(s), "Welcome friends. We are on the trail of a beast the town has a reward for. Salt Peet here has to info for ya if you want to help. Oh..My metal dog here is a Steel Defender. Nice as long as you are too. Don't get on his bad side though. Be careful too. There's signs of some activity in the area. Mind yourselves and stay alert. We think there is something big ahead pushing some trees over I think."
Erdon gets himself more focused on the surrounding looking around 360 degrees. "DeDe protect the group. Stay in front of me by 5ft."

On your 2nd hour and while taking a look at the knocked over trees you find what appears to be the remains of what you assume is a pixie or some such fey critter, it looks to be smashed pretty well but its bones seem to give off a bit of magic aura still, if you can gather it before it completely dissipates. "Pardon me, but, you are..?"
“I’m sniss! Who you?”
the kobold sat there by the fire, wearing an odd jacket like uniform that covered everything except for his tail, horns, and his heavily shadowed eyes
"Sniss? I'm...Jason. I've been on the hunt for some evil beings for a while, but lost the trail, upon coming to this forest. What brings you here?"
