You imbue the javelin with the power of frost and start poking the mold that immediately retreats and freezes to the touch. After a couple of minutes you manage to clear all the mold that is now broken in minuscule fragments that litter the floor.

Lumiere will carefully use her shortsword to press lightly at parts of the wall behind where the tapestry was to try and find an exit (don't think there was an obvious one posted, but I could be wrong.)
You poke the wall behind the torn tapestry and surprisingly one of the stones moves and activates a mechanism that reveals a hidden passage behind it. It goes straight, then turns left and descends a bit. At the end you arrive at a cross-way. One corridor goes straight, one turns right and another one turns left.

I try again with the Cold Elemental Weapon cast on a javelin and poke the moldy slime.

Damn, that's a lot of javelins lol
Lumiere smiles. "Well done, thanks to your spell we can continue." She says. She will go back to checking the room as they did before.
How so? elemental weapon makes a weapon a 'Magic Weapon' thus immune to acid damage from creatures and the like.

Falmo will scout ahead down the left hallway, sticking to the shadows (28 or 25) and keeping a very careful eye out for traps (15 or 17).

Falmo and Jerigg move quietly towards the end of the northern corridor. After a hundred feet or so you reach a closed door.
Ubogri is following about 10 feet back.
Lumiere will lead with her lantern of revealing still. As the group reaches the crossroads, she suggests trying the left (North) passage first.
