"if anyone would like to do some quick shopping up here lets browse, but then lets make our way to the undercity were i can try to make contact with my associate, and talien i think you will really enjoy the Hall of all Fires!
Grom, is this your home you spoke of? I do want to see weapons being forged and buy some. Maybe a new shield if they make those here.
As we enter into the 'city proper' Talien head will be on a swivel taking in everything. He will walk closer to Rees and ask her Is this a big city by your standards here?
"It's not the largest I've ever been in, but yes, I'd consider it a fairly big city. Why?" she asked, as they followed Shake into the pawnshop.
In the shop, she'll start looking around to see if there's anything reasonably priced and shiny for sale -- doesn't have to be particularly useful or anything, just interesting. Maybe an interesting dagger or coin or something.
There's some shiny coins in the case.. they look like they are from far away lands as they have some sort of scribbly writing on them. Then there's some with squares punch through them. Which would you like?
Shake looks at the "instruments" and laughs looking back at the shop keeper. "Good joke, my fine shop master. Surely such a fine and grand shop as this one must have some instruments of better quality than these." Shake picks up the triangle. "This one I can't even play." Shake demonstrates his point by pretending to strike the triangle with an imaginary striker. "See? Nothing but the sound of silence." Suddenly Shake breaks into a solemn, sorrowful song:
Hello darkness, my old friend I've come to talk with you again Because a vision softly creeping Left its seeds while I was sleeping And the vision that was planted in my brain Still remains Within the sound of silence
In restless dreams I walked alone Narrow streets of cobblestone 'Neath the halo of a street lamp I turned my collar to the cold and damp When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a magic light That split the night And touched the sound of silence
And in the naked light, I saw Ten thousand people, maybe more People talking without speaking People hearing without listening People writing songs that voices never share And no one dared Disturb the sound of silence
"Fools", said I, "You do not know Silence like a cancer grows Hear my words that I might teach you Take my arms that I might reach you" But my words, like silent raindrops fell And echoed In the wells of silence
As he plays Shake strikes the triangle with his hand, creating a subdued beat for his sad, mournful song.
Performance = 15
The shopkeeper looks up unamused, "Please look but do not touch my wares. If you are unhappy with my offerings you're welcome to leave!"
Having stayed quiet and kept her hood up, Arxius picks up a pan flute and picks at the white crust on it. Of the pan flutes available she'll see if one looks better than the others and go for that before Shake does.
Looks like the flute is oxidizing.. it will come off with a good scrub. You find a decent enough one.

Shake looks taken aback by the shopkeeper's attitude. He puts down the triangle and says in a haughty tone, "Fine. If this overpriced trash is all you have in the way of instruments then I clearly misjudged your store. As such I will take my leave of this pile of refuse you call a shop. Good day to you sir." Shake marches out of the store and just before he exiting he turns back and yells at the shop-keep, "I said GOOD DAY!!"
Once outside Shake will pull out his bell and start to perform for anybody who might be on the street.
I'm all lost in this trashy market I can no longer shop happily I came in here for that special offer A guaranteed instrumentality
