Here is the starting locations for this encounter. Not all enemies are on there at this point, but I need Naroth's perception prior to kicking things off.
(Sorry in advance if this turns out badly for Naroth...)
No one hears, or detects the figure that stealthily moves through the wagons. They move silent as a shadow and with skill that shows their trade. As the assassin nears Naroth's wagon they slow down even further, not wishing to let their quarry know of their presence.
As the assassin moves up to naroth's sleeping form they ease out their shortsword, the sheath lined with cloth to keep from making any noise as the blade is drawn free. Then the assassin strikes... Shortsword. Melee Weapon Attack: 17 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 piercing damage, and the target must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, taking 28 poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Shortsword. Melee Weapon Attack: 18 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 piercing damage, and the target must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, taking 28 poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Naroth jerks awake as the first strike hits, reaching for his weapon. He knocks over several items in the process, causing some noise. Ulric and Taviel would both hear the sudden noise, coming from the location you know Naroth to be located.
The assassin grimaces at the noise, having hoped his first strike would be fatal. he strikes a second time, this time the poison taking Naroth back into unconsciousness. Trusting in their work, the Assassin prepares to leave, only pausing to grab the totem that caused all of this difficulty earlier. he was going to have to take care of his companion as well, the fool having dropped this as they were preparing to head out that morning.
Stealth: 14 Ulric and Taviel, your actions please.
Toc hears a bang outside and looks up from his meditation. His eyes gaze around the dark small private room. A yowl from a cat fight outside ends abruptly with the sound of two cats racing off into the night. He closes his eyes and returns to his meditation.

Naroth did not cry for help - nor did his new familiar signaled anything. But Taviel remembered all too well the recent attack on another wagon. She was not going to risk it. Sleep for 32 to cover the wagon with Naroth then moving to it to check what is going on.
Ulric will bid his employer good night and elect to stay with the wagon he was hired to guard.

Germain and Naroth?
Naroth would prefer to be alone for the night and will stay with the wagon, trying his best to stay aware of his surroundings.
Perception roll earlier, and Germain would stay with his employer, wagon or room.
Working on this, should have something up later today or tomorrow.
Naroth, still need a perception check from you. Germain and Toc are inside the hostel.

Yes Ulricc heard the sound, your perceptionw as greater than 10. What is your action...
I'm assuming Germain is still asleep in the inn unless someone has made enough noise to be heard inside yet.
Yep, still sleeping.
