Marlyth shoves the unusual object into the Archon's chest. The device itself seems to assist, like a spring loaded autoinjector, driving itself into the heart of the urine fiend.
He howls in torment, a deep gravely roar. Clutch hing his chest, he collapses and he falls still.
That demonflesh golem is still in the lab, though.
Gravity stands still for awhile with a raised eyebrow, and an expression of disbelief. She is certainly flabbergasted by the latest course of events. So, she will creep closer to the fallen archon and lean over him to examine if he's really dead. "You shouldn't have expected me to fight fairly. It's your lack of prudence to blame for such disaster. Do you hear that?"

To Tetrevess, "Sam is not doing well. You might want to take a look at his condition."
Looking at the ursine figure, Gravity notices that he's still breathing. Arcs of lightning are flashing across the gleaming surface of the crystalline hemisphere protruding from the archon's chest.
The floating head of the manifest mind ventures into the lab to find the demon flesh golem over the badly injured Sam.
through the manifest mind, tetrevess casts heroism on Sam, granting him 6 temporary hit points.
Sam has already been knocked unconcious. While he does receive the temp hp, they do not restore any actual hp, thus he remains unconcious. Here is a helpful article about this confusingly named mechanic.
Because temporary hit points are not the same thing as regular hit points, you want to be mindful of what that difference entails.
For example, you cannot use temporary hit points to restore consciousness to an ally that is on the verge of death. They will still need to make death saving throws to cling to life though the temporary hit points might be enough to protect them from an enemy that is trying to go for a finishing blow."
Gravity exhales sharply, holds her breath for awhile before releasing the air gradually with a whistling tune. She will kneel beside the living creature and rub the palms of her hands together to generate warmth. After that, she will place her right hand on the chest of the archon, and grab the protruding part of the device with the fingers of her left hand, firmly. Applying pressure on the chest, she will try to pull the device out of the body.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Actually- I have a plan. The manifest mind can cast thunder step, I have a slot for it, and then Sam (assuming Sam is willing, and the mind can be dimension- doored up top. Once Sam is up top, Tetrevess will go to Sam and give him a potion of healing. (I didn’t realize I actually had two in inventory!)
incidentally, the demon flesh golem will take 17 electrical damage DC 19 dex for half, if it isn’t immune which wouldn’t surprise me!)
if this crazy plan works, Sam will get back 7 real hit points and his temp hit points.
Bonus! That totally works. Sam is up with some hp. @TETREVESS grab an inspiration die.
<Ooc: he has resistance to the lightning, though it would not be seen by anyone as it takes the damage, so still sort if a mystery for the PCs>
<With the trio reunited on rhe surface, (I think minus the cstoblepas calf, unless it got 'ported, too, do you have any plans to do anything? If not, just go somewhere reasonably safe, wherever you please. There's a town nearby. If there is something you had in mind, go do that>
I can’t save the calf, so unless Sam has a plan for that… tetrevess retrieves his sphere and leads the retreat to the nearest town with a tavern. (Any chance we level up? :) )

Gravity falls unconcious
<she must succed on death saves to stabilize. Normal death saves and healing apply. It's exactly the same as if brought to 0hp by an attack.>
(I think you misread that- gravity was shoving it into the archon’s chest- to knock it to zero HP. Brilliant plan..)
Big brain
death save 4
Yeah I did misread this. That's going to require an attack roll. He's not just going to let you shove a pointy thing in his chest.
<obviously, given the misread, we're retconning Gravity falling to 0hp. Just needs a melee attack roll, improvised melee weapon>
Melee Attack: 24

<So, we've got two topside and Sam in the hole on the floor. What are we doing here?>

Am I stabilised DM?

(Thanks for that on temporary HP. Unfortunately I have no way to give Sam any real hit points!).
