In 135 pages of this thread, has it been revealed if aberrant mind or clock work subclasses will ever be fixed? I mean swapping subclass spells when achieving sorcerer levels.
Hard to believe Tasha's has been out for over 2 years and this still hasn't been fixed?
Tasha's has been out for over 1 year, not two. The backend workings to get aberrant mind, clockwork soul, and other similar subclasses working is still under development. It'll be all over the forums and probably other social media when it's working.
I bought the subclasses bundle from Tasha's and activated the optional class features when creating my character, but I still can't seem to activate the Deft Explorer feature for my Ranger. Is there something else I should be doing? Thanks!!

Yes, now that you have toggled on the Optional Class Features in your HOME | Preferences, you need to go to the Classes section of the Character Builder and click on the Optional Feature Manager tab under Ranger, then click in the checkboxes for the optional features you want to have, like Deft Explorer. Then you'll see the new/switched features in the Class Features tab and be able to choose options there.
Edit: Oh, right... as pocketmouse said, you need to have the whole book, not just the subclasses bundle.
I'm not sure if this has been asked before. Because this tread is super long. But I'm playing an articifer armorer. And then you have armor model skill.
This is how it's shown on my character sheet
Armor ModelTCoE, pg. 16
You can customize your Arcane Armor. When you do so, choose one of the following armor models: Guardian or Infiltrator.
And this can be found in the armorer description
You can change the armor’s model whenever you finish a short or long rest, provided you have smith’s tools in hand.
but there is no way to change my armor in my character sheet. I have to move all the way to the Character class in the editor to edit this feature. Quite hidden away. While it should be something you use in game during play. This is absolutely not user friendly. It should be like changing prepared spells and infusions right? Am I missing something? Or is it bad design?
Noticed that in the Oath of Glory, level 7 Aura of Alacrity it says "When you reach 18th level in this class, the range of the aura increases to 10 feet." It should say 30 feet, as it starts at 10 feet at level 7.

That is incorrect. The range of the aura is 5 feet at 7th level and 10 at 18th.

So went back and looked at level 18, it just says "At 18th level, the range of your auras increase to 30 feet." Which contradicts level 7 where it says "When you reach 18th level in this class, the range of the aura increases to 10 feet." Seems like a rules issue more now then a typo

Where are you looking? In my physical copy SagaTympana is correct, the aura is a 10 foot speed boost in a 5 foot area, increasing to a 10 foot area at 18th level. It's worded pretty confusingly though. I couldn't find any errata that might have changed it.
It does seem strange when so many other Paladin auras are 10 foot to 30 foot, and a 10 foot speed boost isn't exactly overpowered (other auras are arguably better, though I do really like the Oath of Glory overall).

I see that wording when you pull up the class in the character builder. I have an Oath of Glory paladin and when looking at the "Available at higher levels" drop down under LV 18 you see that phrasing. I also it really strange that the Aura of Alacrity was different from the others in it's range. It seems like a bigger headache to keep track of then it's worth.

This would be a case of "specific beats general." Most Paladin auras start as 10 feet, and then the 18th-level Aura Improvements feature expands the range to 30 feet. But since Aura of Alacrity specifies in its description that it starts as 5 feet and expands to 10 feet at 18th level, that overrides the 30-foot range.

Hello, I have not used dnd beyond in a while, has the option to create sidekicks been released?
I'm also very interested on when this will be released as well! :D I'm SO excited
You can add a sidekick in the Extras tab, but I would recommend having a separate character sheet for them. Building them per the Tasha's rules within D&DB isn't actually possible yet, as far as I know. That being said, we've had a lot of success with the sidekick mechanics at our home table in multiple campaigns.

If you build them as homebrew “monsters,” you can follow Tasha’s rules for them. Either the player or DM has to edit them on each level up, so it’s nowhere near as convenient has an actual sidekick builder/sheet would be, but it has worked for our party.
I know Tasha's is a big book, but not having a sidekick builder is REALLY a pain in the rear. As a DM I have enough stuff to prep without having to make homebrew monsters. The easiest way to make a sidekick is to just use a paper character sheet, which makes me question why I'm paying so much to maintain a book collection on beyond. The scaling back and slowed rollout of features over the last couple of years has become SUPER noticeable and honestly sucks for people who have been supporting the site from the beta days.

The optional features are only available if you purchase the entire book.

That is insane..but oh well. Thank you both!

Is there a workaround to enable the additional cantrip granted by the All Purpose Tool?
