I have two other characters I've used. The only issue I had was they weren't my characters and it can be difficult water to tread when you create a version of someone elses idea from their imagination. So, I wanted to be tactful, I use the different versions in roll20 (can I mention that word here on D&D Beyond?) to show different emotions. Basically, character emotes, and having a macro set up to flip the token to the next image. Personally I really like hero forge, although I arrived to it a little late after covid19 world lockdown ! I really enjoy playing with the light effects. Although I did see the previous post on this thread with the Illithid, and that was a smart, creative way to use other assets.

I spent... a lot longer than I did on her previous outfit and this one's a lot closer to how I imagine her. Just dug through the clothing options a bit more and gave her some accessories.

I usually end up having to tweak it so much that it isn’t worth bothering, it’s just faster to do it from scratch. But that’s me. If you like the themes then rock socks. That’s the beauty of art, it’s all subjective.

I was looking at the Avariel page on the Forgotten Realms wiki and got an idea for an Avariel chara.

Meet Elanil, she's an Avariel who hides/disguises her wings, because people kept mistaking her for an angel, or an Aasimar and she was sick of having to tell everyone "No! I can NOT bless you! Stop asking me!"

The pic shows her with her wings, maybe I also make one with her wings disguised too, but idk yet.

I'm still pondering about her class, maybe Rogue, or Gloom Stalker Ranger (for the Disguise Self spell) not sure yet.
