"Saint" Orryn was once a Paladin of the Silver Flame; now after disobeying an order to kill an innocent child and defeating his former brothers in honourable combat he's become a sword for hire in order to provide for said child.
Do you have a hero forge link of your creation ? I like it very much and I could use it for a base of one of my character...
You're going to have to host screengrabs somewhere online, neither DDB nor anybody else can get at links to files on your personal machine. For exceptionally good reason, I'd say. Frankly even just the filepath name gives away more of your system data than you should be comfortable with, you'll want to take that link down posthaste.
My soul churns at the presence of loxodon...but kudos to the detail work on that shield. Faithfully riffing Starry Night on that small a scale is not easy. Did you paint the entire figure yourself, or add your own touch to a color printed piece?
I’m particularly proud of the dynamic custom pose I was able to achieve on this one, and each texture (cloth, leather, metal, etc.) has its own specific black to make him as swat as possible.

Hehe, we play a homebrew oriental/desert world setting in which loxodons and leonin are quite common for example. So I jumped on the opportunity to play one ;-)
I painted everything myself. The picture is also a bit overexposed, so some details in color variations are lost. The mini was just preprimed in grey. I am be curious though how a prepainted/precolored physical mini looks like if anyone has one.
This is a work in progress. Need to resize some characters, fix lighting, make sure they are all looking in directions that make sense, and to blend them into this or another background, but Hero Forge has been a great tool to make this composite.
That's legitimately fantastic, work in progress or not. I love Party Shots like that, but they're so expensive in traditional media...nrrgh.
Heh, not in this thread, but you might honestly be able to make a few dollars here and there offering reasonably-priced commissions for HeroForge composites like that if you can get your techniques down. Don't imagine there's a ton of call for it, but I know there'd be some. Hell, I'd pay for one if I knew everybody in the party had a HF they liked and it was less than the $500+ Party Shots often cost in traditional media.
Thanks for the comments. I had to rework most of the characters to make them work because the poses, lighting and some items didn’t fit. I have considered those same commissions, but, as you said, they’re pretty expensive. Seeing some videos on YouTube and what the Hero Forge community has created has been pretty inspiring.
For anyone who’s interested, check out the YouTube videos by derf. He’s opened my eyes to the possibilities.
A new look for my lovely tiffle artificer, after a rather harrowing series of altercations led to a shift in focus for her (and also a large pile of swag-ass new loot): HeroForge Model Link
And also, thanks to the power of finally deciding HeroForge had earned some wallet treats and biting the bullet on a pro subscription...Star and her outlandish steel defender Platinum can finally share a base together. Why is Platinum JoJo posing? if I have to answer that, you may want to remember that her name is 'Star' and his is 'Platinum'. That was not an accident :P HeroForge Model Link
Huh. Didn't know you could get a kneeling two-handed pose like that. Heh, and good job aligning the scope. I've mostly given up on aligning sights of any sort when I make a marksman figure, half the time I feel like I'm lucky if I can get the damned character looking the same direction the weapon's pointed. Not bad at all for a Space Knight.
