Wrong answers that have a semblance of actually being in the rules when they come out? A heavily revised warlock.
Wrong answers for the sake of wrong answers? I'd love a subclass for every class based on cooking/eating food. When are we getting a Chef's Delight cookbook/player options compendium?

I know what you're thinking: "In that flurry of blows, did he use all his ki points, or save one?" Well, are ya feeling lucky, punk?
The Extruder feature. Of 1000 possibilities, you select 50 things you want your new character to excel at, from most important to least. Out squirts a character, ready for a skin.
A crossover from a superhero franchise. You didn't think D&D was superpowered enough? Build a Superhero Class character! With 50 different subclasses, you'll find the best overpowered option for you.
Since everything is a different species, eating sentient creatures not of your own isn't cannibalism. So a list of what each species tastes like. Do Aarakocra taste like chicken? Do Orcs taste like pork? Are Wood Elves a vegan option. These questions will be answered in Krusk's Guide to Chef's Utensils!
Why not a Chef class to go with that- heals through the power of magical recipies, wields cleavers and chef's knives with a fine fenesse in battle. A well placed dessert could out bard a bard in negotiations...

Current interests: Learning/playing DnD and Magic the Gathering. Reading/adapting the following serials into playable experiences: Ascendance of a Bookworm, Elfquest, He Who Fights With Monsters. Various craft and research interests.
Critical failure tables for attack rolls. Loot boxes that contain in-game magic items for real world cash. A guide to solving out-of-game issues by creating in-game conflicts.
Blanket disclaimer: I only ever state opinion. But I can sound terribly dogmatic - so if you feel I'm trying to tell you what to think, I'm really not, I swear. I'm telling you what I think, that's all.
A subscription model that grants access to all content, similar to a rolling Legendary Bundle for a monthly nominal fee. This was doable during the 4th edition era with more content and a better builder for ~$8 a month.
Game Mechanical Updates:
Hit Dice for characters go away as a healing mechanic. Instead, the 4th Ed concept of Healing Surges (effectively worth 1/4 of a character's HP total) are reintroduced and healing spells and items now tap into that resource and add a little more healing on top. Also, some classes or races gain access to tap into the same pool for certain abilities. Some draining effects now also target that pool of points.
Sorcerers become the Con Caster class, as their magic comes from their body, not their mind, faith, or personality.
Book Layout Updates:
Backgrounds are removed and replaced with guidance on their mechanical nature and suggestions for creating your own. Basically "Backgrounds add some skill or tool proficiencies, a language or two, and maybe a trinket or a feat to your character. Here's how to develop your own Background...." but more fleshed out.
In addition to more art, small sections are dedicated to many monsters in the Monster Manual that offer up a selection of encounter groups that a 4-5 member party of a certain CR might face. So there maybe be examples for low, medium, and higher CR encounters, missing in other monsters from the book to help give newer GM's a starting point, or to help them understand things like force diversity to make encounters more exciting.....or just make them wonder why some goblins are paired in an encounter with their pet ooze? Questions breed ideas.
The DMG now has a section detailing the more crunchy side of how classes, spells, monsters, and magic items are developed. There is guidance on how to use this rubric to develop your own custom content, while keeping it in line with the game's design principles. There are sections where the guidance is "get close to this, but also go with what feels right."

"The mongoose blew out its candle and was asleep in bed before the room went dark." —Llanowar fable

initiative buff for light weapon (but less optional than the DMG ch.9 suggestions)
sword breakers, sai rules from the old ninja book, main-gauche
two-dagger attacking. (like two-weapon fighting but sharper??)
two dagger-attacking. (both daggers are in the same hand wowow)
three-dagger attacking. (fighters hate clenching this one weird thing!!)
juggling feat. allows you to cast and maintain a cloud of daggers in an adjacent square.
parry frames. rogue may use reaction to stagger/daze an adjacent foe whose attack missed rogue by 1d6 or greater.
caestus gloves and brass knuckle fighting with additional consideration given to "ground-pounds"
stiletto heels and spring loaded blade-in-the-toe boots
vorpal heart-finder. 2d4 + 3 piercing (reroll all <3), returns to hand if thrown. on attack roll of 20, foe takes same damage again and makes CON save. if successful, then dirk is dislodged and returns to attacker's hand. repeat every round that dirk is not dislodged.

millions knives. talk with plants, advantage to charm angels in july.
chelsea dagger. +5 to slight of hand for theft involving a blade, advantage against spears from brittany.
blagger feat. advantage to CHA checks to/from other creatures that have the blagger feat

lead poisoning. slow effect requiring multiple applications or opponent to eat knife, INT damage.
sharpening stone downtime activity. the party's unmaintained weapons will deteriorate as long as that one player refuses to quit bringing it up.
Oh. Wrong answers only. I missed that part. Reading is hard =(
Spellpoints. For all classes.

tired of hearing how forgotten realms is too lore dense for new players, devs will drop a bomb on it and fast forward a thousand years to a new timeline. Faerun to become a post-apocalyptic rewilding only just now becoming re-conquered by a generation of talented halfling bureaucrats and a backing of unfaltering dwarven re-design (the Small Union) resulting in utopian post-scarcity dome cities surrounded by vile wilderness. city domes built on the backs of literal giants with natural fey crossings and demonic rift incursions evicted to the very edge of the 'bubble' exterior, drawing a very violent line in the sand for would-be colonists and speculators from within who were not already daunted by rumors of wood elf guerilla resistance and their uneasy alliance with dragons of every stripe on the outside. player characters would likely represent quirky but effective heroic pilots (taking full advantage of 'post-scarcity' and magical 3D printing) who earn license levels to requisition more and more advanced giant robots and the weaponry they can be mounted with. fly missions to scatter orc and elf armies from an important airship route mountain pass, grapple hand-to-hand with dragons, define borders against sea-and-shore Fathomless Empire conquistadors, rescue trade convoys from ancient war aberrations, shore up periphery warden druids plugging an under-bubble stone bulwark breach, retrieve or disable magically hacked mechs, etc.
...wrong answers only, right? i read the other day that Lancer rpg (giant space robot stuff) is based upon d&d 4e and my mind has been a mess ever since imagining it going back to fantasy: halfling bureaucracy! hacker elves! goodberry and tiny huts for all citizens! clerics and fiend warlocks shoulder to shoulder in factories (and HR!)! wizard patent moguls tech-bros! giant magic robots fighting dragons!
A rogue subclass, The Fool, a bumbling idiot who only ever succeeds because of amazing luck. Gets the lucky feat for free, but a cumulative -1 to every roll for each time you use it. You can also take Lucky multiple times for more charges. *that actually doesn't sound too bad! I want to go make it now lol*
And wish as a cantrip (For a limited time only, you can get it for the low price of $999.99!) (Only available on the new D&D Beyond VTT (that's actually just a video game pretending to be an online tabletop))
