im wondering if there is a way to put invisible characters to change the order of races when in the Character Builder because i want all my homebrew races to stay together while the normal ones are before in the list and also to clump certain sub races together because this has been done on other sites so im wondering how to do it
well im pretty sure you can because its been done on other sites like if you go to this site you can see whitespace characters so you should just be able to put one in and make it put the race at the end - https://qwerty.dev/whitespace/

you cant use spaces but character like a period would work so place some periods at the begining and the like
