I got my first feat approved. I was trying to look up the FAQ for Feats, but wasn't successful (might be a bug on mobile, I don't know). Now that the feat is live, are there any ways to properly spread the news, or is published homebrew still supposed to be more private?
Here's the Shapeshifter feat that allows you to bring a splash of animal shapes to your character.
There is a homebrew forum on DNDBeyond, I see frequent posts there of users asking for others to review their approved homebrew, give feedback, or even just explain what they did. I'd imagine there is the best place for you to spread word about your new thing, otherwise, as Hartless said it's basically viewable by anyone browsing, therefore you have to hope it catches someones eye to be seen.
I forgot to add tags to my Feat, when I tried to add them, the Feat was rejected because it was considered a "duplicate of the Wild Shape feature". To be quite honest, it is the equivalent of the Magic Initiate or Martial Adept features. It is a very limited variant of a Class feature that is very useful to characters that want a splash of a Class without taking a level in that Class. I'm a bit confused now. I removed the new version (with Tags), and my original version is still approved (gladly).
EDIT: The similarities and "copied text" are actually a matter of consistency. It is completely useless to create a new text that basically restates the same rules as Wild Shape, because it is clearly based on Wild Shape. Just like Martial Adept offers links to the Martial Archetype of the Fighter. Quite possibly this could be alleviated by writing something referential, like "You gain the Wild Shape druid feature, but in a very limited way", but that doesn't sound right. It's not exactly clear wording and repeating the rules is actually a far easier approach. Also the Druid Wild Shape feature is part of the Basic Rules, so I am not making paid content accessible: I could understand the problem if it was that (I'm an RPG publisher myself, so I understand the necessity of not copying copyrighted material).
I'm not seeing any rejection on the back end. When you modify any approved homebrew submission, you would need to resubmit for approval before it overwrites the first submission (by using the Create New Version button)
Yeah, I did that. That's why I removed it, I was afraid the approved one would be affected. I see that the approval process is of course subject to different human opinions; if it's ok, I'll try to resubmit the Feat; I would be upset if my approved Feat would be rejected now tho.

Now that it's published, it will show up in the public homebrew feats listing here -> https://www.dndbeyond.com/homebrew/feats
Users that have a subscription can add it to their collection (there's an Add to Collection button) when you expand the item in the listing.
Once in their collection, it is accessible to them in the character builder.

How do you get a one-armed goblin out of a tree?
Wave!
Oh! I thought I posted to the homebrew forum! Sorry for messing up, and thanks for the hints!

Thank you!

OK; I gave it another shot, added my Tags (Exploration, Utility, Movement) and resubmitted. Let's hope it goes through this time around. :/
