Because D&D is pretty much my thing, my way of screwing around on a computer is to create homebrew and then do some heavy mathwork to balance it.
My current project is a Hulk-themed Barbarian path that focuses on actually physically changing into something else when you Rage (think Path of the Beast). However, I was unsatisfied with the one minute duration on Rage, because out of combat that's going to be a nigh negligible amount of time to be green.
Therefore, I am considering one of the Path's features being an extended duration for Rage. This led me to the question- how would extending the duration of Rage be broken? And how long is too long for the Rage to last?
A couple of times I were throwing around were 30 minutes, an hour, a half of a day, or even just plain old sunset to sunrise (King Kirby Forever!).
(Also, because pictures are cool and I was looking for them, here's one of Alex Ross' paintings of the Hulk. Doubt anyone cares, but I enjoy it.)
Hm... that is pretty tough. Best thing I could think of after a while is that the passive buffs would be really strong if they stayed active outside of combat. 10 rounds and a limited number of rages seems to limit that to a degree. Perhaps mimic the Enlarge/Reduce spell or the Rune Knight's Giant Might feature, but lasts longer with some sort of detriment? Not too familiar with Hulk lore, but maybe something like disadvantage on wisdom and/or intelligence checks? I think that would be reasonable enough to take with stacking bonuses in combat and similar advantages outside of combat.
In the comics, for a while in the ‘90s Banner and the Green & Grey Hulks all merged into “The Professor” and walked around that way normally all the time. (It was weird seeing the Hulk in not-ripped pants and a lab coat pushing glasses up the bridge of his nose.) They even brought that back for the MCU. (It was less weird when Ruffalo did it.)
You could maybe let them be a little less green while not raging some of the time, but tuen go full green when they Rage? Just as an idea.
That's what I thought, too. Rage's buffs are waaaaay too good to last as long as they do.
Looking at Giant Might and Enlarge/Reduce, I have an idea about expending multiple uses of Rage, but I'll have to look into that. Thanks for your two cents.

Essentially, something along the lines of Giant’s Might/Enlarge + Rage bonuses while Raging is the Angry Green Hulk, and without the Rage bonuses the rest of the time is more-or-less the 5e equivalent(ish) of Professor Hulk. I was just speaking narratively instead of mechanically before. We’re all saying the same thing, just talking about it differently. (Like the three blind people describing the elephant in that allegory.)

That's an idea I had, too, but that's currently just in the back pocket. I'm not entirely sure about it.
Yaaay fellow lover of pictures
Always happy to help get the wheels turning =)
