Hello! So I am really new to DND, but I was wondering if I could have some help with a homebrew campain. For an overview of it; it is a horror campain much like the Dead Man's Wonderland anime where the players are trying to survive and not get twisted into this wicked carnival. If your interesting in helping or even just more information in general let me know! I am a minor so please be appropriate. Keep in mind this is my first ever homebrew of anything so I don't know much of any of the building styles. I'm going into this blind and hoping someone will be willing to over up their knowledge.
Here is a link to the basic information I have currently on world building. It is very basic.
One thing I can off er up is that I am currently running a Lovecraftian horror campaign (Call of Cthulhu type stuff), and am using the Sanity and Madness rules. The players who like it love it, and the others not so much, so be careful with them and use them sparingly if you are going to use them at all.
I need help all around I am currenly working on making npc's which is hard since they can actively attack in between rounds. It's definitly a complicated subject to figure out. I will definily look into Snaity and Madness' rules! Thank you!

Generally NPCs follow the same rules that PCs follow. If you need some ideas, I published a bunch of NPCs you can check out here: (https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/dungeons-dragons-discussion/homebrew-house-rules/132012-quick-customized-npcs). Maybe some of them will help inspire you with yours. And if you want to use any of mine feel free.
