I'm trying to create a homebrew race that allows a player to choose a spell and choose between Charisma, Intelligence, and Wisdom for their saving throw DC, and I can't figure out how to do it.
I also can't get the ASI to work correctly, I have the "Bonus - Choose an Ability Score to increase by 2" and "Bonus - Choose an Ability Score to increase by 1" but they just aren't working in the character sheet

I've done everything shown, but now the options aren't appearing at all on the character creation.
The "Ability Score Increase" and such do appear but there's nothing to select inside

Did you check the “has options” box?

I’m sorry, you are correct, there is no “has options” button for racial traits. My apologies.

Did you attach the corresponding Modifiers to those Options? For example, for the (+2/+1) Option you need to add the following Modifiers:

• Modifier: Bonus->Subtype: Choose an Ability Score to Increase by 2->Fixed Value: 2
• Modifier: Bonus->Subtype: Choose an Ability Score to Increase by 1->Fixed Value: 1

For the (+1/+1/+1) Option, you have to add the following:

• Modifier: Bonus->Subtype: Choose an Ability Score to Increase by 1->Fixed Value: 1
• Modifier: Bonus->Subtype: Choose an Ability Score to Increase by 1->Fixed Value: 1
• Modifier: Bonus->Subtype: Choose an Ability Score to Increase by 1->Fixed Value: 1

Okay, now you must re-save the whole race using the main [SAVE CHANGES] button under Basic Information so the system picks up your changes. Then it can take up to 20ish minutes for those changes to reflect on the character sheet. If the sheet gets stuck on an old data cache, try removing the race from the character and adding it back again.

This is still all that shows up on my sheet. The same goes for my spell option too, text and everything is there but the option still isn't appearing.

This is even when creating an entire new character and selecting the race.

Did you put a “1” in the levels where Options known field? If so, then delete that and leave that field blank.

Both that and the required character level are blank.

Did you check the “is granted” box for your Options?

All of the features are checked as granted.
Would it be possible to share the race to see what's wrong with it? or does it have to be published for that.

It's also alright if there isn't anything more that can be done, I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually

Not the features, are the Options checked as “granted?” That’ll cause them to go wonky if you don’t set prerequisites for the options, which you don’t have.

Unfortunately not, no. I wouldn’t be able to see the guts to see how they’re programmed. Only a Mod or Staffer could do that. If you post a link to your race one of them might stop by and take a look, you never know.

My best guess is that the two options are not set up exactly the same way, maybe one is marked as a granted Option and the other isn’t, or something like that. Double check them both and make sure they are set up the same way.

The only difference between the options is that one is a +2/+1 and the other is +1/+1/+1, other than that they're both done the exact same and both options are checked as granted

Aha!! Uncheck them as granted and save, and then re-save the race. It should be fixed in about 20ish minutes after that.

I figured it out, having both options marked as granted tries to simultaneously give you both options AND the ability to select between the two options all at once, prevent them from showing up at all, after unchecking the "is granted" box it works like a normal option would
