Hey everyone! I've been making a lot of homebrew monsters lately and was increasingly frustrated with copy/pasting and changing the coding to get rollables.. so I made a spreadsheet to do it for me! It's pretty self explanatory, just change the numbers or words in the corresponding boxes and copy/paste the block text into the monster builder. There's one for attacks, one for spellcasting (which includes a spell to hit rollable button), and a spell list.
Just go to the link and make a copy of the spreadsheet!
You've copied the wrong image of dice code, the one you're having issues with is Blade Arm but your screenshot is for Test Blade Arm which appears to be working
What Davyd said, I would also add make sure you have the [/rollable] code at the end since that and the "rollDamageType" are the two things missing from the Blade Arm code there. But based on the Blade Arm Test working I think you got it figured out!
I don't have a way to do that in the Google Sheet. What I typically do is make rollable buttons for one handed and another set for two handed and note that in the stat block, similar to what I did in my barbarian stat blocks with rage. https://www.dndbeyond.com/monsters/3818264-tier-2-ancestral-guardian-barbarian

I've been trying to add rollable dice to one of my homebrew monsters, however it just doesn't work ...
I've read tutorials, watched videos on youtube, tried your spreadsheet ... but to no avail, on the monster block it always looks like this:

in the editor it looks like this:

funny enough it works for the +8 hit roll, but it doesn't for the 2d6+5 dmg roll.
can you help me?

Thanks for the help. It seems to work now.
How do you add Versatile? as if an enemy has a longsword?
