I have a player that enjoys using the unarmed strike. The group consists of 5 - 4th level characters and for their first time, I am about to introduce some magical weapons via loot found in an old cave hideout. Since everybody else in the party has "traditional" weapons, I'll just have +1 weapons for them to find. However, I thought I could give this character some gloves that, among other features, gives a bonus to damage, but I would like the damage to scale up with character levels. My goal was as follows: Lvl 1-4: +1 damage Lvl 5-9: +2 damage Lvl 10-14: +3 damage Lvl 15-19: +4 damage
I believe I can add a static bonus damage, but it seems to me that I can not make it scalable.

Magic items are not designed to scale with character level by WotC, so DDB never programmed that capability into their system.
