I wanted my players to encounter a monk and couldn't find one in the MM NPC list, so I built one based on a 5th-level PC. I'd appreciate some feedback on it, particularly whether you think CR 3 is correct and whether you think the special features make it too complicated to run as an NPC.
(In checking my link, I found the left-out word in the Unarmed Strike bonus action. I'll fix that in the next version. Any other editing notes will be appreciated.)

Hello, all.
I wanted my players to encounter a monk and couldn't find one in the MM NPC list, so I built one based on a 5th-level PC. I'd appreciate some feedback on it, particularly whether you think CR 3 is correct and whether you think the special features make it too complicated to run as an NPC.
Here's the link: Monk (Open Hand)
(In checking my link, I found the left-out word in the Unarmed Strike bonus action. I'll fix that in the next version. Any other editing notes will be appreciated.)
Many thanks.

Wow! Wish I'd thought to search on "martial arts" rather than "monk." Oh well. That was only a little time wasted. Thanks for letting me know.
